1.2 m vehicles crawling into KL every day, public transport stuck at ~20% mode share... and the big fix is RM5 coffee to "encourage" an earlier start?
Real talk: maybe talk about PPHPD upgrades & fixing those sad isochrones instead of playing barista, man.
What the fuck.
Putrajaya has launched the behavioural initiative "Bangun Kuala Lumpur!" to ease KL's morning congestion.
As part of the efforts, the Federal Territories Ministry, in partnership with Zus Coffee, will offer drinks as low as RM5 at 250 outlets for commuters travelling into the city between 7am and 8am.

One year on, the RM1.1 billion deal signed between Malaysia and British semiconductor company ARM to develop IC design and fabrication is being scrutinized by anti graft body MACC as probe widens into alleged wrongdoing and power abuse involving a former minister and his aide..

My statement on MACC’s public search notice as a wanted man. I’d like to iterate that I’m not Jho Low nor am I in Macau. This is plain and simple using the largesse of the state against a nobody like me. I’m not a politician, tycoon, or an influencer. Read here:
Never in my life did I think the state would be weaponised this way under the 'Reformasi' government.
Semua rakyat Malaysia yg ingin hidup dgn tenteram harus mengambil tahu ttg isu ini.
Mengapa?
To me, philosophy government itu agak simple (bukan senang, tapi simple).
Pertama, hapuskan SEMUA benda yg korup, dan letak semak imbang (check and balance) yg sgt ketat.
Barulah pergi yg kedua, iaitu menggerakkan birokrasi kerajaan utk mencapai benda yg bagus.
Mengapa buat yg pertama dulu?
• Bekukan akaun
• Bekukan pasport
• Byk² lagi yg saya tk nk sebut
Jgn haraplah nak lawan jika bukan drpd golongan berada/berkuasa.
That's why—the first priority is to put in place every possible mechanism to LIMIT the powers and potential for abuse of government. Only then comes everything else.
So, although of course I am furious at what is happening specifically to James, this is not just about James.
It is about the weaponisation of the state.
This is a red line for me, as it should be for any Malaysian who believes in the right of citizens to live in peace, especially those who have served their nation.
James Chai has more integrity and patriotism in his little finger than most Ministers have in their entire body.
Anyone is free to look up his public profile - he is a world-class intellect who has spent a lot of time on public service, when he could easily have made more money doing other stuff.
This dragging of his name and personal details in the media, as if he's some criminal evading the law (versus doing great work in Cambridge), is absolutely disgusting.
