What we witnessed yesterday in Warsaw was a blatant violation of Poland’s constitution. I never thought @donaldtusk would sink to such depths as to stage a coup d’état against his own people. I sincerely hope President @NawrockiKn succeeds in his efforts to uphold Poland’s constitutional order. Our hearts go out to the Polish people.

UNBELIEVABLE SCENES IN POLAND.
Anna Korwin-Piotrowska, elected to the Constitutional Tribunal by Tusk's parliamentary majority but NEVER sworn in before the President of Poland, is now being presented on television as the person taking over the duties of the Tribunal's president.
Polish law requires Constitutional Tribunal judges to take their oath before the President. Korwin-Piotrowska instead participated in a ceremony in Parliament, whose legal validity is disputed.
She has now declared the Tribunal's president and vice-president suspended, invoking provisions governing ordinary courts through disputed statutory cross-references.
The Tribunal's existing leadership rejects her judicial status, refuses to recognise the suspension and has denounced the operation as an unlawful coup d'état.
A person whose own authority to serve as a constitutional judge is contested is claiming the power to suspend the leadership of Poland's highest constitutional court.
And all of this is being presented as the restoration of the rule of law.

Unbelievable. In Italy, the major newspapers and mainstream media outlets are all censoring the pro-EU coup attempt that took place in Poland. They are literally not reporting on it. Only a few outlets covered it eight hours ago, limiting themselves to calling it “disorder.”

El jefe del gobierno Donald Tusk perpetró un intento de golpe de Estado aprovechando el viaje del jefe del estado Karol Nawrocky al extranjero. Asaltó el Tribunal Constitucional con la policía y pretendió destituir a presidente y vicepresidente del Constitucional con una juez leal sin competencias.
Pero no contaba con el presidente que enterado ordenó al avion dar la vuelta cuando sobrevolaba España. Volvió a Varsovia, entró por la fuerza por delante de sus escoltas en el edficio del TC pese al cerco de policias de Tusk y convocó a todas las máximasx instituciones de Supremo y Constitucional para restablecer el orden Constitucional.
Aunque la crisis continúa, parece claro que el gobierno de Tusk, el títere de Von der Leyen que jamás habría perpetrado este asalto sin permiso de Bruselas, tiene los días contados. Pero recuerden, los medios publicos y privados de toda Europa han sido cómplices del golpe de Estado silenciando toda la operación. Solo las redes sociales han alertado a polacos y europeos. In Brazil, a rogue judge with no jurisdiction over elections changed election rules after polls had closed to help his incumbent leftist friend steal an election. Then another judge ordered the opposition candidate and his family’s passports seized when he complained.
In the United States, rogue district court justices defy and insubordinate the Supreme Court on a weekly basis.
As Bukele warned, if you don’t remove corrupt judges you cannot have a country.
