Eric Bauza was a unique voice talent who brought joy and laughter to millions around the world. During his 15 years at Warner Bros. Animation, he was the voice of Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck among countless other characters. He followed in the footsteps of giants like Mel Blanc. Eric said that carrying on the legendary legacy of the Looney Tunes was among the greatest honors of his life. In addition to his incredible talent, Eric was a treasured part of our animation family. 🚨🇮🇪 It is understood that #SaintsFC’s Finn Azaz, who has Israeli heritage so deep that he's on record as saying that his maternal grandmother was "a general in the IDF", made an impassioned speech to his international teammates at a meeting in Pristina on Friday, and again at another meeting in Debrecen, Hungary.
It's not yet known if Azaz's words swayed the Ireland squad members who were on the fence about playing tonight’s game against Israel.
Azaz is ‘likely to have given a view of the Israeli side of the debate, not easy to do when faced with what we can imagine is an ingrained opposition to that country's actions in Gaza and Lebanon’.
Whether Azaz wants to play for Ireland again is in doubt.
