Have you ever wanted to scan your code for vulnerabilities without sending it to an external service?
A lot of teams especially in fintech and regulated industries can’t risk their source code leaving their environment. But most security tools still require uploading code to the cloud.
That’s why we built OffShield AI (@offshield_ai ) .
It’s a privacy-first application security tool that runs locally. It finds issues like hardcoded secrets, weak crypto, SQL injection, and broken access control, then gives AI-assisted remediation suggestions all without your code leaving your machine.
You also get:
• A dashboard that shows your vulnerabilities and security score
• AI remediation you can apply directly
• The ability to push fixes to GitHub or GitLab from the tool

I am so happy that we were finally able to come up with a solution to insecure coding when it comes to build web and mobile applications.
Offshield AI @offshield_ai has made it really easy for you to build an application without making it vulnerable, with this web IDE tool you can scan for flaws in your source codes without having to leak it out to a 3rd party, all your codes stays with you.
And not just those, you can also push directly to your codebase, without any hassle the moment your codes has been fixed or vulnerabilities and bugs.
Try it out now: ide.offshield.tech

Enough of CRUD operations to be called a backend engineer.
Learn these 5 patterns and you’ll definitely level up your backend engineering skills.
Circuit Breaker Pattern
Transactional Outbox Pattern
Queues & Stacks
Saga Pattern
Retry & Exponential Backoff Pattern
These are concepts you’ll encounter when building reliable, scalable distributed systems.
If you want to start your journey into system design, I wrote a book a few months ago called System Design for Builders, Volume 1: Foundations.
You can get it here:
gamms.app/s/system-design-fo…
I’m currently working on Volume 2, which goes much deeper into system design, architecture, and the real-world problems engineers need to understand when building scalable systems.
Volume 1 is a good place to start.

Replying to @GammsApp
@GammsApp will be transformed totally from all you used to know it as.
You will now know it for one thing!
We are simply responding to our users' request to follow this new direction.
And yes, it is fintech in a different way, done in ways you already know.
Anticipate!
As for Offshield Security product which is Offshield AI @offshield_ai , we are open to more Security researchers, software developers and engineers to test out our product and give us a honest feedback due to its use.
From yesterday till this morning @offshield_ai has gotten 3 great feedbacks, this one included.
This is a web based IDE code editor that allows you to drop your codes and gets it audited from flaws and vulnerabilities which also provides fixes for them.
There is also an AI agent that you can communicate with for deep scanning and also draw you a Threat Model for what you are building.
If you try it out you can give your take on the product and what features you will love to be added to the product itself.
Try it out now and tell us what you think: ide.offshield.tech
@TosinOlugbenga @iamKingRobert @honour_can_code @richsongocrazy @RoseMarvelous4 you should also try it out and give your honest feedback on the product.

This year, 2026, we’ve already seen a significant number of security breaches.
A good portion of them didn’t start with advanced attacks. They started with basic issues in the code hardcoded secrets, broken access control, injection flaws, and other problems that sat in production longer than they should have.
In many cases, the teams involved either didn’t have a practical way to catch these issues early, or the tools available to them required sending source code outside their environment.
For fintechs and other regulated companies, that trade-off often means the scan simply doesn’t happen.
That’s one of the reasons we built OffShield AI @offshield_ai .
It’s a privacy-first application security tool that runs locally. It flags high-impact issues in your code and provides AI-assisted remediation suggestions without your code ever leaving your environment.
You also get a clear dashboard of findings and the ability to push fixes directly to your codebase either GitHub or GitLab.
What makes it different isn’t that it finds more vulnerabilities than every other tool. It’s that it removes the friction that stops a lot of teams from scanning properly in the first place.
When more teams can consistently catch and fix these common issues earlier, without creating new compliance or data residency problems, the overall risk goes down.
We’re in early access and working with teams that have this constraint.

When building a product, let it be related to a genuine problem that people really need solution for.
If your product is not making anything better, then it's time to re strategize and focus on what really matters
Most of the progress on OffShield AI right now is unglamorous.
Better detection on a few patterns.
Clearer explanations.
Small UX fixes so people actually finish a scan.
Not headline stuff. Still the work that matters.
