When my students read books from our classroom library, they get to relate to characters, build empathy for others, and take a vacation without ever leaving their seat. Books are the heart and soul of my classroom And I’d love your help with adding more.❤️amzn.to/3jTMCuP

Many say baseball is a game of failure b/c even the best batters fail 2 out of 3 times. But it’s really a game of opportunity. Every at bat is an opportunity to make the next one great. Same with life. No matter what happened yesterday you have an opportunity to make today great.

A team that loves each other doesn’t need a lot of rules to be accountable. If you love each other you’ll want to be your best for each other. The key is to have standards and expections.

As a leader your job is to serve, not be served. Your team needs to know you care. Serve their heart. Your team needs to improve. Serve their talent. Your team struggles with doubt. Serve their mind and spirit. Your team has potential. Serve their growth.

In order to teach writing, we must first be writers ourselves! ❤️#ELARfoodforthought #GleasonProud @GleasonTigers
