Today, Volmex is proud to introduce the Volmex Prime Rate Indices (VPR), the benchmark index standard for crypto interest rates. The Bitcoin Volmex Prime Rate Index (BVPR) and Ethereum Volmex Prime Rate Index (EVPR) standardize crypto's cost of capital, offering transparent, single rates reflecting onchain USD-stablecoin borrowing rates and derivatives market dynamics for both BTC and ETH.
In adding six new Volmex fixed-income indices today and more indices soon, Volmex has become a benchmark index conglomerate.
The VPR Indices consist of two primary components:
