This Friday, I took part in “Box in a Circle,” learning about Indigenous cultures, colonization’s impacts, and our role in disrupting harmful systems. Inspired by my staff’s commitment to creating spaces where all students feel valued and seen.
Thanks, @OPCouncil, for showcasing my vision at Eastside.
I'm very lucky to work with an amazing admin team, dedicated Indigenous counselors & student success coach, passionate teachers and support staff, and incredible students and families to help make this vision a reality.

One of my goals this year is to continue to refine my mental models and decision making process. CONSIDER, COLLABORATE, COMMUNICATE is a model I am going to use this year. I created an infographic to help consolidate my learning and thinking.

Had a P take me for breakfast 10 yrs ago & ask if I was interested in admin? At the time, I wasn't. Over the decade, he provided = amounts of interest & support. He was the first one I called when I got the job. Now, I look forward to buying someone else breakfast! #mentorsmatter
