The problem with X. (@elonmusk)
Politicians should have to operate social media on a credit system. For every post they make they should have to respond to a hundred others.
PUT THEIR INTERNS TO WORK.
X allows our elected representatives to post away about all of their ‘accomplishments.’ Their feeds are littered with all the glorious work they’ve done on behalf of the little people. But they never respond to any of us. Not meaningfully. It’s a script. Talking points at best.
Try calling them out.
Try forcing a response.
Try getting them to go on the record.
There should be a “warrants response” button, that if it receives enough clicks over 24 hrs, it forces a senator or a congressman to answer before they’re allowed to post again.
Better yet, they should have to host a Space about that very topic.
Exhibit A: @LeaderJohnThune. The most unaccountable, Republican politician on the planet.

They don’t get to decide when the issue is settled. Voters do.
The gig is up. We Voted Red. 🗳️
In the past 2 hours, Kalshi’s payout for a Paxton win has dropped precipitously from 3.4x to 2.2x. And it continues to nosedive.
