Any word on scraping the unfair council tax yet?
Grievance, Grievance, Grievance.
That's all you have.

This is an absolute masterpiece of nationalist hypocrisy. The SNP is legitimately using a union quote to complain about a lack of “concrete reindustrialisation” and “devolved powers for... local authorities”, completely ignoring that economic development and municipal funding are fully devolved to Holyrood. Your party has been in power for nearly two decades. You oversaw the Ferguson Marine disaster, the collapse of BiFab, and the decline of Grangemouth. Furthermore, the SNP has spent that entire time relentlessly centralising power away from local councils and brutally ring-fencing their budgets. Blaming Westminster for your own domestic power-hoarding and industrial failures is insulting.

I hope as a Scottish taxpayer that I’m not funding your trip to support terrorism. You’re just a jumped up councillor and have no remit fir foreign affairs. Get our roads fixed you fraud.

The SNP are starving the police of funding and ignore the warnings over a lawless Scotland yet they are providing £2.7 million of our money to fund their school bag gimmick. The usual SNP “freebie”stupidity with our money endangers all of us.
Gavin retweeted
I want a criminal investigation into the school bag situation in Scotland the overspend is like a siren for corruption and theft.
Scotgov/SNP could have just given P1s a voucher to spend on a local high street for a bag of their choosing. That would have injected some much needed money back into high streets and localities.
Instead they think of the Chinese before they think of Scots. If there ever was a situation to convey the mixture of scumminess and incompetence of the SNP this is a great example.
Most of the SNP don’t even have children and it shows in the way they think.

Can this clown deliver what Alex Salmond or Nicola Sturgeon couldn’t?
Imagine spending years backing a political party that promises you independence and repeatedly fails to deliver it - then blaming the people who refuse to believe them.
Instead of asking why @theSNP have failed to persuade a convincing majority, why do separatists block, abuse or dismiss anyone who dares to question them.
Ask yourselves this - if independence is going to be such an obvious success, why can’t you convince the sceptics?
Why do you keep defending an incompetent political party that has spent years promising you the separation you desire and still hasn’t delivered it?
If their argument can’t survive the scrutiny, perhaps it’s not the sceptics who you need to question.

But the majority are not pro indy. Pollls are not clear voting intentions, its dependant on who you ask and how many people you ask.Their backgrounds, job title and political leaning. Religious beliefs may also play a factor. Ask 100 nationalists or 100 unionists easy to work out

You are absolutely right that independence would “transform mortgages and pensions”, Richard; it would transform them into financially crippled assets.
As the SCG’s own 2026 currency report admits, a new Scottish Pound will act as a shock absorber via the exchange rate, meaning the forced conversion of pensions instantly devalues everyone's retirement savings. Furthermore, to halt the massive capital flight triggered by launching an unbacked currency with a 9% trade deficit, your central bank would be forced to set interest rates sky-high, immediately destroying everyone's mortgage payments.
Touting this deliberate financial ruin as a positive transformation is absolute delusion.

So on the same day we discover @theSNP is spending tens of millions of pounds of taxpayer money to hundreds of civil servants who don't actually have a job, we also find there isn't enough money to properly fund the police. It's farcical. Monty Python like, but beyond satire!

Has @Ross_Greer been arrested and charged yet for his support of a proscribed Islamic terrorist organisation??
If not why not ??

The Times reports the SNP spends £27 million a year keeping public sector workers on full pay even though their jobs have disappeared
What difference would £27 million a year make in the fight against drug deaths in Scotland or to a charity like Glasgow & Clyde Rape Crisis? 👇
The SNP is taking Scotland’s taxpayers for mugs.
800 civil servants still being paid after their jobs ceased to exist—all to protect its “no compulsory redundancy” dogma.
Utterly outrageous.
Major investigation from The Sunday Times - the Scottish state is paying a minimum of £27m a year to around 800 public sector workers, in the NHS, councils, police etc who do not have a job, but they cannot be made redundant owing to SNP policy
