Good performance and a good game of football as well, probably could've been even more comfortable but job done and moving in the right direction. Selection headaches incoming for Wilshere with so many players putting in good shifts, good to see.

Never a red card, stone wall penalty, disallowed goal and every 50-50 goes to Luton. Seemed to be scared of those fans. Deserved more cheated out of it. Standard of referring needs seriously looking at.

Far from convincing but job done. Played some nice stuff in the first half while Barnsley were well off the pace, felt we never really went for it in the second half and just tried to manage the game, which is brave, but we just about got over the line.

Joined a dual carriageway this morning from a roundabout with a BMW in front of me, no other cars ahead for a good quarter mile, BMW moves striaght to lane 2 and sits for the entire 5 mile stretch, not overtaking a single vehicle in the process 🤣 What goes through their heads?

It's not a fluke, it's 100% intentional and absolutely a wonder goal. One of those ones that 99 times out of 100 doesn't go in or even close, just caught it perfectly on the day.

Wilshere will not get us out of this league, the quality of player isn't available at this level to play this style successfully. We can't mix it up, we have no fight and at this level that's mostly what you need to do.

We see it all the time, teams that for the are absolutely shocking in possession but they work hard, they pick up every loose ball, win their duels and defend their goal.

Palmer on the left wing is such a waste, genuinely feel like we're better suited to a back 3 system with 2 10's to get the best out of Palmer/Donley. Just need somebody who can play alongside Walsh.

Of all the things I could bring up after today, it's corners! 14 of them, pretty much all plonked right in the keepers hands while our players stand like statues at the far post. Whoever is coaching this shouldn't be working in football imo, it's beyond amateur.

Not only that, but why are the players not getting to a point on the pitch where they agree to try something different? They should have multiple routines that can be signalled by the taker. It was absolutely laughable that it happened 14 times and never changed once.

Without wanting to be too reactive, i'd love to know what system Wilshere is building here, because it's an absolute mess again. We've recruited for a back 4 and switched to a back 3 again, we've not got a single midfielder at the club that can defend & we're light at full back.
