Gaz Masters

We always threaten to be half decent, but we are punished badly for our mistakes and let the other team get away with theirs. There was a stat put up on Aaron Glenn’s record against division opponents though and by god, however you dress it up that is horrendous. #jets

HT: 17 - 3 to the Pats and its horrid. We’re so bad in critical moments. The short yard plays have killed us. Another shout out to the refs also. Throwing every flag they can against us and never for us each week. Like we need any help in securing our own fate. Ta lads #jets

Another absolutely woeful bit of play in a 2 min drill situation, barely move a yard, barely took any time off the clock. And now give the patriots another chance to get more points to kill us off before the end of the half. It’s so very hard to love this teams sometimes #jets

1st point - why are we brutally bad on 1 yard plays. It’s actually absurd. 2nd point - I hate this virtually marking system as I just don’t trust it whatsoever. I’m supposed to just trust the spot is right on these with virtually no proof at all? Haha ok then #jets

Unbeaten no more. Ok in the 1st half. But 2nd half we looked poor, summed up by bringing on norgaard who looked like he needed another month at least to get up to speed. Wrong subs and Chelsea much better quality in 2nd the dif. Got to hope they get back going next game. #efc

Half time: Offence bad, Defense bad, coaches bad. Week 4 I know but any hope of Glenn turning this shit show franchise around is evaporating fast . We just look totally and utterly lost #jets

Up there with all time shit show so far! What the f are they doing. Some tough goal line stands the only decent efforts but they allowed Bears to march up the field both times to get there with barely a whimper and the O is woe so far. Glenn in trouble if this carries on #jets

Not sure this decision today is the victory for football everyone is clambering for. The big traditional teams will continue to dominate. Teams like EFC, Villa, Newc will never be allowed to catch up. City only cheated on rules brought in to protect the few.

Very much felt like a game we gave away. Did not kill them off when we had the chance and then some abysmal decisions and plays at the most costly of times. Tough one to take as that was there for us to win. #jets

FT: Great determination to come from behind twice. Maitland-Niles comes up big on his debut at the end. Keeps us unbeaten too. Hackney/Grealish looked great when coming on. George with a strike too. Small squad but we need players to step up in it and plenty did today. #efc

Final thought. Dangerous in prem to stand still. But to regress is suicidal. Hope I’m wrong as I fear for us, we started positively, but the squad is less in numbers & quality now than we had at the start of season. Could Moyes walk? Doubt it but tough job tougher now #efc

Big questions need to be asked of the transfer committee model that simply failed. Scrambling round at end and claiming you are unlucky deals don’t get done is nowhere near good enough. ‘Judge us at the end of the window’ they always say. And we will. Nowhere near enough #efc

So thats that. Even the most positive blue (I would usually include myself in that pot) will struggle to understand that window. Leave ourselves far weaker I believe. For a whole season we can afford 2 injuries max. Unlikely Incompetence? Negligence? Take your pick. #efc

Big concern with defensive squad depth currently. 6 hours left and ANM the only player seemingly still being talked about? It is absolutely absurd to consider we will end this window with less full backs than we started with. Something else must be on the cards? #efc

Forgetting football is played by accountants now. Time to get ridiculously over positive. Richi would die for the club ala Hickson Grealish loves us, we loved him. Football is a passion sport and hearts should rule minds maybe the game really is gone if we lose sight of that.

Valuations reported on Ndiaye/richi absurd. Madness of transfers and SCR rules in full view. Sadly a distinct lack of negotiation from our side. Looking at Armstrong farce yesterday and now this deal. Everton look desperate. Kinnear’s interview all the more baffling #efc

Have to say too that away support again showing the best of Evertonians! Absolutely immense. Sending a clear message to the transfer committee and ownership group. Over to you with 3 days left! nil satis nisi optimum #efc

FT 1-1. Denied a clear penalty, business as usual there. Dug in to get late equaliser and a pt away not too shoddy. Now all eyes on off the pitch stuff because on the pitch I think it’s been a fairly positive start despite the obvious lack of signings in certain positions 💙 #efc

“Judge us at the end of the window” If we end this window selling our biggest prospect. Failing to sign a right back. Losing Ndiaye. Fans rightly would be judge, jury and executioner. #efc
