At ICRA last week we published a paper on designing more efficient transit networks by combing AI tools and classical methods. arxiv.org/abs/2404.05894
It was a great meeting with a record-breaking attendance by both researchers, robots and institutions.
Our @RoboPI_UF group attended the 2024 Marine Robotics Workshop and Field Trials at the Bellairs Research Institute of Barbados. It was great to see so many amazing designs and ideas for solving various marine robotics problems. Some great talks and robot demos too 🤖

With Canada’s new 'online harms' bill set to make online hate punishable up to LIFE in prison, is Trudeau's C-63 bill about protecting children or about labelling any speech he personally dislikes as hateful?

I recently went to two Christmas parties. Not a single person was wearing a mask.
And it was okay, because there’s no epidemic where I live. Western Australia has managed to sustain zero COVID for nearly 2 years.
Eliminating COVID-19 was always possible. The world chose not to.
I just decoded the data in my proof-of-vaccine QR-code from Quebec. It's basic on a set of solid standards, and has the same information that is printed in text on the form that contains it. Clean, modern, extensible approach, smart. Well done, QC!

I was able to get my second dose of vaccine yesterday, well ahead of schedule. I got lucky with the venue. How nice! Best wishes to those still waiting.
