TGR Haas F1 Team reserve driver Ryล Hirakawa will replace Esteban Ocon for the remainder of the weekendโs Mexico City Grand Prix.
Ryล participated in FP1 at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez on Friday, his third free practice outing of the season driving the VF-26, finishing 15th overall.
The Japanese driver will partner teammate Ollie Bearman through final practice and qualifying on Saturday and Sundayโs 71-lap grand prix โ marking Ryล's Formula 1 race debut.

Alan Wake 2 has undersold due to exclusivity and it's honestly such an incredible game, it deserves more. Gatekeeping it will not bring more users to epic long term.
Former Valve dev Chet Faliszek has fired back at Epic CEO Tim Sweeney over his latest attacks on Steam.
Sweeney claims Valve is holding PC gaming back and criticizes Steamโs AI disclosure rules.
Faliszek argues that these disclosures help players make informed decisions:
โYouโre just treating players like theyโre stupid.โ
He also points out that Epicโs own Fab marketplace uses AI disclosures.
And his response to Sweeney? Put Alan Wake 2 on Steam if youโre really that pro-consumer.
