Look who I found at the @45Drives Creator Summit! A wild @allanjude, @tekwendell, and @TomLawrenceTech appear:
I can't pass up the opportunity of a selfie with a neat clock when I see one. Don't know the history of this one (restaurant owner didn't either), but found it (not working) in Wilmington NC

Little did I know my final push to get jeffgeerling.com migrated to Hugo at the beginning of 2026 would save me a lot of stress today: jeffgeerling.com/blog/2026/m…
If you use Remi's repo, switch to official repos for now to make sure you get the fix: xitter.cf/ThePHPF/status/2112828…
Replying to @ThePHPF
If you rely on the volunteer maintained rpms.remirepo.net we urge you to move to distro packages or building from source now, so you can immediately apply updates. The repo will not have updates today.
If you run any kind of PHP application on your server... it's time to patch. Except... the patch is not here yet.

Not a heart attack, but something almost got me last night. Out of the ER today, thanks all you for being there and sending messages.
Scary when you’re alone and something like that happens
Formlabs sent me a Form Studio 1 resin printer to test. It's $699 (compared to Form 4, it's almost 4x cheaper!), and it prints well.
But I also talked to their engineers a bit about value engineering, and why they dropped the Raspberry Pi in this model: youtube.com/watch?v=4l9xU3_3…

It's the current version of Sampson Boat Co's Tally Ho rebuild, and I can't get enough.
also shout out to @BocaBola_ who popped onto the list the first time —bumping LTT main channel down to 3rd page this month haha. (@TechLinkedYT and @jakkuh_t are still up on the first page, eh @TheRikeys?)
The Radxa Dragon 8QB is more than 2x faster than the Pi 5, has tons more I/O, and only costs a little more... but good luck finding one :(

NTS-200 NTP Time server from early 2000s was handed to me at VCF Midwest. It works! Just... off by 19 years ;)
I put a DC block on the antenna input though, don't want it to fry my GPS splitter! I may be able to get it to 2026, we'll see.
Probably chatting with my Bosch dishwasher
Hey uh, @Keurig - what the hell is a COFFEE MACHINE uploading, let me double check...
