Not going to lie. I totally stepped out of my comfort zone for this one. But I’m truly happy I did! On Tuesday, I had the pleasure of hosting the red carpet at the Seattle Sports Commission’s (@SeattleSC) Seattle Sports Star of the Year Awards. But of course, I wasn’t there solo, as usual, I was there with my #ConvergeMedia (@wwconverge) family 🥰 So while I was on the red carpet, Chuck (@Chamaker23) of Circling Seattle Sports (@circlingsports) was on the other side of the room having in-depth conversations with all of the sports, legends, and athletes. What I will say is this, over the years, I’ve slowed myself down by putting myself in a box where I only covered things revolving around music. However, this year has taught me there is so much more for me to do. So no more boxes for me, I’m literally ripping all the tops off. What are you doing this year to push yourself past your comfort zone? Huge thank you to our production team: The Elite Collective, Francisco Lopez, Carlos Imani (@carlosimani), Victor Jones (@genericvick), William Davis, LeVoy Cooks, Brady McAtee, Liv Lyons (@_LivLyons), Jordan Somers. Via @wwconverge “The Seattle Sports Star of the Year Awards took place last night at the Westin Hotel, and Converge Media was on the red carpet. Our Besa Gordon was there to take in the sights and sounds as icons like Ken Griffey Jr., Doug Baldwin and Jen Mueller, as well as legends in the making like Julio Rodriguez and Jewel Lloyd, were honored by the Seattle Sports Commission The star-studded event also featured the mascots of Seattle’s sports teams as well as a full slate of media, coaches, and dignitaries. Special thanks to Rob Leslie and the SSC team.” #88SSY #WWConverge #BlackMedia #BlackMediaMatters #BlackInSeattle #Sports #SeattleSports #SportsStarAwards – at Seattle, WA
