SOMEONE LAUNCHED ON SHIPDESK AND SAID IT WAS SLOW...(it was super, super slow) and he was right! so i spent today fixing it, here's what changed: → images now load in ~0.1s instead of 1-1.4s → public pages load in ~0.12s for visitors who aren't signed in → browsers cache scripts and styles → logos only load when you scroll to them the biggest issue? i was fetching every image from the database on every visit... 17 images on the homepage alone, now Cloudflare caches them closer to visitors this is why i love building in public! real founders use your SaaS, tell you what's wrong, and you get to make it better... shoutout to @EannMckasson for the feedback 🤝 if you're an indie hacker or solo founder building something, let's connect and test each other's apps! we might find bugs we'd never notice ourselves 👀
