Injustice is pumping millions into supporting DA but not Public Defenders. Hey @GovKathyHochul the same discovery resources prosecutors need, defenders need! We have clients that deserve that! The DAs in NYC support us getting the same funding they do why don’t you?

Can we all just note that the system did more to stop people from protesting the police murder of Tyre Nichols last night than it did to prevent a white supremacist mob from storming the US Capitol.
So much to say - The officer at the car stop scene who hopes “they stomp his ass.” The officers holding a handcuffed Tyrie while others beat on him. The police coverup starting immediately with “he reached for my gun.” An often used made up fact by police to justify beatings. – at New Jersey, USA
The footage was not something I wanted to watch. I was warned in advance. As far as I was concerned, I was prepared. There was no amount of preparation that could have prepared me for this. I can't stop crying. Just awful. #TyreNichols

Last night we held our #TNJTownHall with clinicians, legal experts, & community members at @elmcor.
What resulted was a rich conversation about mental illness & public safety. I’m so grateful to everyone who shared. We need to have conversations like these to pass the @TNJAct.
It’s not just 3 cases! It’s not his heritage. It’s not the “far left vs. moderates.” It’s his judicial philosophy and. It’s wrong for New York @NYSSenate – at New Jersey, USA
