.@Sportico published its first Indian Premier League team valuations. @mipaltan lead at $2.1 billion, with IPL franchises valued in a narrow range—the "get-in" is $1.5 billion, same as NHL and a tick ahead of MLB ($1.45B).
Compared to other leagues, IPL teams are wildly expensive, based on revenue multiples.
I'll be interviewing @CavinderHaley and @CavinderHanna at @Sportico's Invest New York conference next month, along with a stacked lineup of other power players in the industry below.

The Brewers were in a 6-year playoff drought when they sold Timeless Tickets for $1K, promising a seat for any home game—even a World Series clash.

The New York Athletic Club has sponsored athletes dating back to the first 1896 Athens Olympics, winning more than 300 medals.
But in 158 years, the club had never supported winter Olympians. Thanks to a post-pandemic membership boom, that's changing: sportico.com/leagues/olympic…
