My concept of time is inherently fucked, but this must have lasted for at least for WEEKS, possibly much longer, because I vaguely recall I would get bored of it for a while and then come back some time later to do another days-long session.

Also do have to say for how absurd the entire situation was, that particular curator is now someone I really enjoy chatting with. I’d argue I made a friend.

The primary thing that happened here is that it led to a really interesting series of research rabbit holes. Victorian mineral preparation techniques > Henry A. Ward > Chicago World’s Fair of 1893 > Brother Amian. Some day I should finish up all of those projects.
