Sophomore album ‘KunlĂ© – The Journey’ is deeply personal and built upon reflections collected over many years on his self-discovery journey. ‘ÀjĂ  – Whirlwind’ is a big opening number, using strings, keys, and layered vocals to elevate a global roots sound to an orchestral level.

As a singer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist, KunlĂ© infuses folk and roots music with traditional instrumentation and storytelling from West Africa to create a global folk sound. His celebrated warm live performances have seen him perform with Töme, AHI, and Shakura S’Aida.

Nurses fired. Students losing OSAP. Schools crumbling. People struggling to survive. But don't worry! Doug Ford just broke another record, spending $117 MILLION of your money on government ads telling you how he's "Protecting Ontario." Ford couldn't be more out of touch. #onpoli thetrillium.ca/news/governme

NEW: The Ford government has broken its own record for ad spending. Internal documents show its advertising bill climbed to more than $117 million last year, according to internal documents — the highest total in a single year in Ontario’s history. The end of municipal democracy in Ontario. Ford appoints his cronie as Chair of Muskoka Region. Ford has stripped the people of Muskoka, Peel, York, Halton, Niagara, Durham, Waterloo, and Simcoe County of the right to elect a Regional Council Chair in next week's election. Instead, he will appoint the Chairs—who will be able to force through decisions even if 2/3rds of elected Councillors vote against them. #onpoli

NEW: The Ford government is expected to name Conservative MP Scott Aitchison as Muskoka’s first “strong chair,” @readpolicorner has learned. Aitchison announced late last month that he would leave federal politics to “explore new opportunities.” policorner.ca/p/scoop-a-home

And now it is even worse in rockcliffe Smythe. The so called flooding mitigation plan will make flooding worse west of Jane according to the City’s own documents. Over 600 trees removed and more soon. What the heck @FrancesNunziata? @MayorOliviaChow

#WalkingTheCity I am convinced that #InfrastructureCreatesCulture. Tory & Council have failed suburbs. Today I rode Jane by Steeles, Finch, Wilson, Church, Lawrence, Eglinton, St Clair, Dundas. Shame on elected officials who’ve done terrible public spaces & even worse maintenance

Some nights, the room just becomes one. Songs, stories, laughter and a little bit of dancing. By the end, Bayfield felt less like a concert and more like a living room full of friends. Thank you for a beautiful night. ❀ “My name is KunlĂ©. Have a good night.” 📍Bayfield ON
