Introducing shadcn/lint. An agent-first linter for Tailwind design systems. You define what’s allowed. When an agent breaks a rule, the error explains what’s wrong and how to fix it using your components, variants and theme. There’s a lot you can do with this. Let me show you ↓ github.com/shadcn-ui/lint

This.
interface design is pattern recognition: discernment of which form to apply and when, and sometimes (rarely) pattern creation most interface problems have already been solved. there’s no need to reinvent the wheel each time. a good designer knows when to rely on a rich corpus of existing work, and when to push the envelope with something new or unexpected systems cohesion and elegance: so-called “canonical interfaces” are much harder to cultivate and steward

The people getting great UI results with AI aren’t using a secret model or a magic prompt. They know what a great interface looks like, and they know how to steer AI towards it. Work that used to take a week takes a day, and the quality bar doesn’t drop, it goes up, because you spend your time on the things that matter. At the end of the day, people that use AI best are the ones that were excellent before LLMs as well. The ones that got the fundamentals right, went that extra mile, and cared about the thing they were working on.

First live stream of me designing! I had fun overall, but I definitely have some kinks to work out. Like accidentally forgetting to change the scene when I switched apps... teapawt.net/i/broadcasts/1lKQRRNyR…

I'm gonna live stream building my portfolio deck. It's mostly done, but figured it'd be fun to try out the new Twitter streaming now that the algo is lit.
