if you're living with the daoi youll have access to a lot of new materials and techniques from them too!
in fact. any time you or wren are feeling anxious or uncertain about where you stand with elvir you can always remind yourself of that. every day, every moment elvir spends with wren, is a moment in which elvir has decided that wren is worth the grief
hm. idk about hope but the heart wants what the heart wants. maybe experiencing a pure and honest love for even one short moment is worth the lifetime of grief that comes after
so youre both a fey creature and a shapechanger, with the perks/drawbacks of both. and rygek will indeed have advantage to track you. so. i guess. watch out
i think i may have said before that wren wouldnt technically count for categorization purposes because hes already a shapechanger? but it seems like monsters of the multiverse (thanks mordenkainen) does specify changeling pcs as fey creatures
i cant remember if ive said this before but i do think theres room for wren to do a bit of research (perhaps consult a local expert?) into what native plants barovia has that can be used for dyes, rather than immediately opt for summoning magical/faerun plants. if you wanted!
side note but im imagining the fringe sticking out like that is a permanent feature once you get into the mountains. each little fringe is now an icicle (wrens favourite)
IM SORRY you put so much thought into this, we are being unfair and i am very sorry to have discouraged you 😭 you should do whatever wren would do. or whatever it would give you the most joy to have wren do
