Why cant they invest more into AI in medical use instead of the scam-the-elderly use?
I genuinely can't think of one good use for this technology to exist
Introducing Griffin, the first model to pass the video Turing test.
48% of people who talked to it live thought it was a real human. Previous systems have had a pass rate <3%. It is #1 on NVIDIA's benchmark for full-duplex AI video.
It’s the first Human Interaction Model (HIM).

The 48% figure and "video Turing test" claim are from Tavus's own study of 54 one-minute calls, not independently verified or using a standard protocol. Griffin-Lite leads NVIDIA's VideoFDB benchmark on their public leaderboard.

I think a lot of ai bros are missing the point. Even if AI became indistinguishable from human work, finding out something was AI would make me immediately lose any respect or interest for it.
This is very suspicious. They refuse to set up a gofundme but are happy to sell highly priced t shirts with AI designs. They made a post with "proof" theyre in debt then delete the post after and disable comments. If they are faking and set up a gofundme, that is wire fraud
A dad whose 9-year-old son allegedly spent $118,000 on YouTube ads using his company credit card says he's now lost his job
Mighty Mike Plays says he must repay the full amount within 30 days or potentially face legal action

This looks like garbage.
Played a little bit with H3 Max by @fal + Opus 5 and one-shotted this 5 min cartoon in 15 mins.
Cartoons are solved
There's something uniquely evil about AI generated speedpaints where you are actively trying to convince others it is human-made instead of just admitting it is AI. Taking advantage of people who value art.
Replying to @WTrashart

Personally I can kinda see the silver lining in rise of AI branding
It is an easy way to tell if a product sucks, cause the effort they put into their branding likely reflects the quality of their stuff.

I can post about this now!!! :D
Here’s the full, original, Mythical Nightmare island design!
It was such a huge opportunity to get to design this island! Thank you, Ghostympa!
I swear every single post on my home page is those "tap and hold" art posts and it is chipping away at my sanity

It should be parents' responsibility to look after their children, not the government.
Be honest, Keir. You just want to take away our digital privacy.
We are banning social media access for under 16s.
These days kids must find their feet in a world where technology intrudes into every area of their life.
I just can’t let that go on anymore. So we’re giving children their childhoods back.

The UK Government's 'careful review' of the research found a small correlation between children's use of social media and wellbeing, but no evidence of a causal effect:
