I care for a lady in my neighborhood. She is 87 and lives alone. I take her to all her appointments and to get groceries weekly. She has nobody. Well at 3am she got a call from a scammer demanding she go to a ATM at her bank.

Federal Judge Jesse Furman ruled on Monday that the Justice Department's firing of Maurene Comey, daughter of James Comey, was unlawful and ordered her retroactively reinstated as an assistant U.S. attorney in the Southern District of New York.
Comey previously worked on cases against Ghislaine Maxwell and Sean "Diddy" Combs before being fired by the Trump Administration in July 2025.
Comey argued she was fired because of her father or her perceived political views, in violation of the separation of powers, the First Amendment, and due process.
Here’s the judge’s ruling:
…Comey’s removal wasn't authorized by any statute and violated the Civil Service Reform Act.
…Judge Furman rejected the government's argument that federal prosecutors exercise the president's "conclusive and preclusive" powers, writing that the defendants are wrong.
…Comey will receive retroactive reinstatement and back pay from her termination through December 20, 2025.
That’s a lot of tax dollars Trump’s personal agenda and complete disregard of the U.S. Constitution cost the American people.

History has a way of exposing what fear tries to justify.
MAGA spent years waving “Don’t Tread on Me” flags. Now people are being trampled, and those same folks are suddenly quiet.
Turns out they never cared about individual liberty, resistance to tyranny, and government overreach as long as the people being terrorized are people they don’t like.
Masked men terrorizing families and shooting innocent people in the streets are never the good guys just because they wear badges.
No warrants. No due process. Racial profiling excused as enforcement tool. Children left on the side of the road after their parents are taken. A government excusing atrocities based on what people look like.
Some day everyone will have always been against all of this.
But the internet is forever, and we have receipts.

If you're a fan of Law & Order SVU, you probably watched this past Thursday's episode, which featured predators who use manipulation, coercion, and psychological warfare to target children in the darkest ways imaginable. This episode gave real insight into both the law enforcement officials who heroically deal with the horrific nature of these crimes and perpetrators and the work that remains to close gaps in laws and systems that enable these offenders to hide behind screens, anonymity, and outdated statutes while young lives are shattered.
That's why I continue to call on the U.S. Senate to pass my Coercion and Sexual Abuse Free Environment (CSAFE) Act, which the House of Representatives adopted unanimously earlier this year. This legislation provides long-overdue legal clarity and serious consequences for criminals who coerce and exploit children. We cannot rest until we've done everything possible to ensure the protection of innocent and vulnerable boys and girls. Pass CSAFE now!

It should never be forgotten that Ken Paxton was a leader in the coup to nullify the election of Joe Biden. He filed a lawsuit in the Supreme Court to challenge the 2020 election results in Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan and Wisconsin even though he was the AG for Texas. His suit was quickly tossed by the Court. On January 7th Paxton claimed the insurrection of the previous day was the work of antifa. This lie was quickly disproven.
On the 7th 46 state attorneys general disavowed the violence of the 6th in a letter to the Acting Attorney General of the U.S. A few days later three more AGs sent their own letter in condemning the violent insurrection. Only Ken Paxton failed to sign either letter.
