Excited to share that I’m back at GitHub as a Principal Design Engineer, working on the new GitHub Copilot App. Looking forward to building great experiences, collaborating with an amazing team, and helping define the future of agentic coding.

How to render a huge PR with over a million changed lines across 2,200 files and 400+ review comments? The tricky part isn’t the code, it’s the comments.
I wrote about how we tackled this in the GitHub Copilot app:

Extraordinary engineering milestone 🚀
The article is also excellent. Full of interesting details 🙌

Coming soon to the GitHub Copilot desktop app: editable diffs!! ✏️
Agent got you most of the way there? Make those last tweaks directly in the diff, right where you’re reviewing the changes.

We ported the GitHub Copilot agent runtime to Rust!
Beyond the direct performance impact, it's a testament to the ambitious projects now possible with agents.

Is the Hugging Face incident AI’s Chernobyl?

AI feels similar.
What would AI’s Chernobyl look like if this isn’t it?
Today I fixed a thing.
A small UX issue on macOS that had been annoying as hell. We’d tried to fix it three times already, with no luck.
Gave it another shot today and finally fixed it.
It felt soooo good. 😌

Project HydraFusion in GitHub Copilot achieves frontier-level quality at up to 67% lower cost!
It achieves this via runtime orchestration that creates a plan, chooses models from multiple providers to draft, critiques and revises, or cascades to more powerful models to complete your task.

I'm trying to understand how githero.app got 3M requests last 30 days. Probably bot traffic? Now it's shut down because I exceeded Vercel's free tier limits. Thinking what to do next
