I bought a gorgeous bunch of peonies yesterday, that I know will only last the weekend, so I am carrying them around with me wherever I write.
Served a make your own pasta bowl dinner tonight with a multitude of toppings. I’m accommodating to a fault. But it was delicious.
I’m a day late, but happy pub day to @NChristie_OH!!! 📚💕
It’s happening Toronto! Dream come true. An outdoor book festival celebrating writing, reading, and storytelling. So many books! Good thing I have a credit card, and the will to wield it. Oh, I’m signing too, so please come and say hi!💕📚
Thank you so much!! 💐💕

Warm, witty, and a bit relatable!
It's my paperback pub day and I'm celebrating with homemade brookies and parent-teacher conferences— because I'm wild that way!
Thanks for all the love from far and wide!

The brighter the better💖
I’m ready for today! Is there such a thing as being too brightly dressed when going out for the day?😏 I got read today because I’ll be in my writing cave this weekend!
Two weeks until the paperback of The Wise Women comes out. Thrilled to see some early copies already in stores!!
Congratulations!!!
Congratulations to @RealSarahPolley on winning an Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay for her work on #WomenTalking 💫 #Oscars #Oscars95 #AcademyAwards
When I was a kid, I had to take advantage of my library's amnesty day to return a bag full of books. Shameful. Recently full of apology and ready to pay my fine, I returned a late book. "It's okay. We ended fines last year. Do your best." Incredible. I won't be late again.
Feeling pretty proud of myself for doing deep water aquafit without the flotation belt. Going to climb the stairs now and not hold the railing. Living on the edge folks.
Thank you so much!!! @Austraphile Such great company to be in!

My husband: You can't go outside it's storming.
Me: I need quiche!
Safe to say I would die in the wild.
That thing where you've already ordered the food and your dinner guests call to say they're sick. Sigh. Winter/Covid/Flu.
For a moment today, I actually thought about when I could schedule falling apart. Um, someone’s a little maxed out. It’s me. Yup, I’m the problem.
Went for a walk tonight and as I inhaled the cold air, I had a total sense memory of being young and living in NYC, which I loved. But this time when I went home, it was warm, and mine, there was soup on the stove, baked goods, and my loves. Ah life, the places it takes you.
