Gooooood morning! The 2026-2027 #LRC cycling pattern is continuing to evolve. El Niño is having a big influence on this development, but something bigger is happening: the new LRC is setting up. The #Weather2020 winter forecast will come out after we complete the first cycle of this year's pattern. Right now, here is a forecast showing the two streams forming in the next week. The northern stream holding any cold air way up north for now! #LezakWeather #ElNino #WinterForecast #WeatherPatterns #LongRangeForecast #KansasCityWeather #Meteorology #WeatherForecast

NEW VIDEO: We have new video of the likely #tornado that swiped parts of Santa Fe, NM on Saturday evening.
Local police say there is damage to homes, gas lines, and trees in the area of the likely tornado.
The National Weather Service will survey the damage today to determine the extent of this storm's impact. #NMwx
It was difficult to watch tonight as the Chiefs lost their first game of the season, and didn't look good doing it. If you have been watching our new LezakWeather.com live show every morning on Facebook, right here, and Youtube, then you know I have an inspirational message of the day. I will start the show tomorrow with perspective on this loss. How do you feel? I will see you at 8:30 AM as we discuss the weather changes. Speaking of changes - Next Saturday night is the fall back time change. Have a great start to the week. #ChiefsKingdom #LRC #lezakweather #Weather2020
3rd and 9, 9, 9, 10, 8, 7......The Chiefs can't stop them on 3rd down. Embarrassing. It will be a miracle if they are in this game in the 4th quarter. Go @Chiefs
Good News For Tonight's Big Game. There may be some drizzle or very light rain, but most likely it is not a big factor. The radar trends point to a dry and perfect night for football. What do you think the final score will be? My prediction: Chiefs 27 - Seattle 23. It may be a nail biter! Go Chiefs! The Kansas City Chiefs #ChiefsKingdom
There is an evening Tornado Warning for Santa Fe, New Mexico, effective until 7:30 PM Mountain Time. Intense thunderstorms are tracking across New Mexico as this storm system is ejecting out into the Rocky's and weakening. If you are new to the LRC, the pattern is cycling and we are in the first cycle of the 2026-2027 cycling pattern. Weather 20/20 has a patent pending on the Weather Predictor Using Weather Cycles. This part of the pattern will cycle back through, we will know when in a few weeks. #LRC
❄️ THE OCTOBER SURPRISE — 30 YEARS AGO TODAY! ❄️. Here is the link to the video: youtu.be/4-LMykU8wgMOctober 22, 1996 — A day Kansas City will NEVER forget! Early that morning, I was on the air at WDAF-TV telling everyone we might see a few snowflakes mixing in with the rain. Well... Mother Nature apparently wasn't listening to my forecast! 😂 Before it was over, 5–8 INCHES OF HEAVY, WET SNOW had fallen across parts of Kansas City! Trees came crashing down under the weight of the snow, power lines snapped, and thousands of people were left without electricity, some for DAYS! And here's the BONUS! 😂 Take a close look at one of these pictures. That's a 26-year-old Jeff Penner talking on the phone! Who was he calling? Probably ME, asking, "Gary, WHAT IN THE WORLD IS GOING ON?" 📞🤣. Thirty years later, Jeff and I are STILL talking about the weather together, now on LezakWeather.com!
There is a Tornado Warning for the area just west of Snowflake Arizona right now! Remember this southwestern storm as this part of the pattern will cycle back through, likely in the first half of December. #LRC

A Tornado Warning northwest of Flagstaff this morning as a strong storm spins off the Southern California coast! How unusual is this? I will be live at 8:30 AM Central Time! #LRC
Gooooooood morning! I will be live streaming right here and on LezakWeather.com at 8:30 AM Central Time. A storm system is lurking off the Southern California coast today. Conditions are favorable for thunderstorms, a few of which may be severe over Arizona with a tornado risk. This part of the cycling weather pattern will return during the winter, and next spring when the severe weather risks will spread farther east. #LRC #Weather2020 #Lezakweather #severeweather

🌪️ THE ROULETTE WHEEL OF WEATHER IS SPINNING! A few days ago, I showed you the MASSIVE change taking place in the atmosphere. Now, the new LRC is evolving right before our eyes! 🌎 What is this developing pattern telling us about the winter ahead? Snowstorms? Severe weather? Drought? And how will the developing Super El Niño influence it all?
The atmosphere is beginning to reveal clues, but we are still watching the first cycle unfold. In this week's Weather 20/20 Intelligence Report, I take you deeper into the fascinating science behind the LRC, the evolving weather pattern, and what we're learning about the months ahead. 🎯 The roulette wheel is spinning. The question is: Where will the weather pattern take us next?

🌪️ A MASSIVE CHANGE IN THE WEATHER PATTERN — THE NEW LRC IS EVOLVING BEFORE OUR EYES!
Goooooooooood evening! Something fascinating is happening in the atmosphere, and I want to share it with you! A massive change in the weather pattern began taking place earlier this month, and tonight we are watching an impressive storm system spinning over the Pacific Ocean, centered approximately 538 miles west of Seattle! Look at the incredible circulation in this water vapor satellite image. What does this storm tell us about the winter ahead, the year ahead?
Join me Monday morning (and every weekday morning) at 8:30 AM Central Time on LezakWeather.com, Facebook, and YouTube as we discuss the developing weather pattern and the new LRC (Lezak's Recurring Cycle).
For those of you new to my weather discussions, here is something that may change the way you think about weather forecasting:
🌎 The weather pattern is cycling! The LRC is based on the hypothesis that the large-scale weather pattern becomes established each fall and then repeats, with variations, on a somewhat regular cycle through the seasons. At Weather 20/20, we have developed patent-pending technology using this cycling pattern to help predict when and where significant weather events may occur months into the future — potentially a year ahead. And YES, we are also watching the developing Super El Niño! But remember, El Niño is only one part of the equation. The LRC may help us understand how the larger atmospheric pattern evolves and what that means for rainfall, snowstorms, drought, and extreme weather.
📖 If you would like to learn more about the science behind my research, including the 2015–2016 Super El Niño, I published a peer-reviewed paper in 2018: Cycling Weather Patterns in the Northern Hemisphere: 70 Years of Research and a New Hypothesis

What do you think this developing pattern means for our winter? More snow? Less snow? Let's discuss in the weeks ahead. Our winter forecast will not come out until we complete the first cycle of this year's pattern, which is in progress now.
Have a great evening!
