Thank you @italki and teachers! I reached 200 hours (ok usually 45 mins is enough) of forcing myself to speak languages that I'm not all that good at with some really skilled and patient teachers😅it's one of the best tools I have in my bag for getting to fluency #langtwt

Apple's Translate.app supports Thai translations if you type using the keyboard, but the OCR (live text) is not quite there yet. Book recommendation from @thai101 🐸🐕🐁🧍‍♂️
A great excerpt from @tfadell's new book about making things. It might well be the a big part of the reason why he left Google and why #googleio keynotes are unwatchable, they forget about the why, about the customer. fastcompany.com/90747313/ste…

For fans of the Netherands, Hier zijn de Van Rossems is a goldmine of Dutch history and culture. Each episode, 36 so far, visits a different city. Subtitles make it easier to follow. Thanks @earlymodernjohn for the tip. npostart.nl/hier-zijn-de-van…

A big thanks to @danielbbudd for the fun packed Coding for Secondary Learners session and the many hours of preparation work that went into it. Who knew using SwiftUI in Swift Playgrounds was so easy? developer.apple.com/document… #AppleEDUchat

Mac text-to-speech: Who knew about Option-Escape? Unlike Edit Menu, Speech, Start Speaking, it analyses the language of the text and selects the correct voice before speaking🤯

Geeky macOS stuff: It's the first time ran out of memory on this 16GB M1 MacBook Air. It seems Preview and TextMate could use some help from Instruments?

Fun to see a 3x lingual shopping bag. Why not 4x lingual you may ask? Migros, the big Swiss supermarket, will open its first ever shop in Engadin next year.
