Why are non-diabetics monitoring their blood glucose? New @theipaper article features Limbo member Tom: "...once he understood that the excess [energy] was being stored as fat, he was able to change his habits and lose 10kg." inews.co.uk/inews-lifestyle/…

What a humble and inspiring man @lowcarbGP is. His amazing work started with a curiosity of a patient who had cured T2 diabetes with diet. His decade of results prove the value of diet for diabetes and beyond. The data are outstanding. Are other GPs not curious/ interested?

We have several members using CGM + coaching at @LimboRevolution to do more than manage. Most are in remission within the first couple of months. – at Merton, London
1/2 Should continuous glucose monitors (CGMs) have a place in managing poorly controlled type 2 diabetes? I think so... This patient of mine had a big improvement in his sugars when I prescribed a CGM for just a few weeks He wasn't allowed to work as his sugars were too high..

‘Too Sick To Work’ says @MetroUK @LiamColemanMet reporting on new stats from the @ONS today. Is it just long Covid and home working, or could pandemic-related weight gain, based on massive habit change be a big factor? – at Merton, London

Big day for @atiqulhoque76 today as he’s making history - Salisbury now has a Bangla, Muslim mayor. I first met him in 1996 and this is a truly impressive journey. Congratulations and well done.

This is the beauty of tracking your body's data. Next time, you'll be Label Detective Pat. The little glucose spike in the app shows those big zeros tricked you. The pot truthfully declares 7g of carbohydrate but in tiny figures on the boring bit of the pack.

I'd eat this naked. I mean without bread. It's the only recipe in the Glucose Goddess Method that I'd adjust for weight loss. I'll eliminate the carbohydrate - pitta & increase the protein - tuna. I'm switching my body to fuel itself mainly from protein and my stored body fat.

Although the word has been hijacked by diet brands, ‘ketosis’ is a natural process in the body’s energy management. No matter how you lose fat you’re going to do it through ketosis.
