based on the sound i'd guess that it's a synthv acapella with tuning exported to vocaloid, spliced with an rvc acapella (i say spliced but some small sections are entirely AI because the rvc noise is very apparent).
That interview is about odds and ends, a song from 14 years ago.
Again, not really stating an opinion, you can clearly tell some degree of AI is involved.
It's not splicing. That's not how splicing works. (Talking about the melt remix)
For his latest song some splicing or morph is involved, but there are some very suspicious bits there too that simply can't be just splicing
Not to dunk on you but he's used RVC with SynthV on his melt cpk! remix and Intergalactic Bound also uses SynthV splicing and it's literally on the official Miku channel

Not quite music production per sé, it's about SynthV specifically, which is an AI tool to make vocals out of music scores, and how to fine-tune its output
Not quite the same thing! It's a matter of timing, and in OpenUTAU if you set up y/w/l/r as liquids/semi vowels then the issue isn't present
Otherwise you just make sure the liquid consonant begins with the note and not before the note.
