I'm so glad someone is talking about this because I was extremely sad when I saw this. For the record I did not want to get paid nor did I get paid I made that extremely clear. I am sure other companies are doing this as well. I'm scared to talk about this since I did sign an NDA and they have my identity.
That's how Kimi AI are promoting their new model Kimi K3.1 pro and I know all the influencers working with them and none of them are honest,I have posted about it myself but I didn't join this and never used their templates that they provide. PROPAGANDA, I have more to share it's f**cked up I'm gonna have follow up for this

This stresses me out, and I'm extremely nervous about this. I feel like I did something incredibly wrong. Talking about this makes me even more nervous.

I really like Kimi as a model, I genuinely really liked it, it is so much fun to use that was my honest thought on it. Being able to test something before everyone else is awesome and I'm grateful I got to experience that. However after I saw that documentation I got really upset and sad.

Kimi K3.1 Pro is out! Once again they did not pay me, I did get early access to the model. This model is great at 3D, it has much lower refusal ratings than using Astra and Opus which is why I love using this model. It is really steerable. It is SIGNIFICANTLY easier to work with than Opus 5.5, Kimi doesn't refuse to do tasks nearly as much as the other labs.
Introducing Kimi K3.1 Pro: our most capable 3T-class open-weight model. 🔹 1M-token context, 2.8T total / 104B active params (MoE), Multimodal. 🔹 Full-project coding: games in Unreal, Unity & Godot. 🔹 Excels at parametric 3D modeling in Blender & CAD. 🔹 More reliable at finance work: Accurate modeling with hallucination down by 65%. 🔹 Matching the strongest proprietary models across coding, agentic and knowledge benchmarks. Kimi K3.1 Pro and K3.1 Pro Highspeed (2–3× faster) are now live on Kimi.ai, Kimi Work, Kimi Code, and the Kimi API. Open weights by Nov 4, 2026. 🔗 API: platform.kimi.ai 🔗 Tech blog: kimi.ai/blog/kimi-k3-1-pro

It is great at 3D, the Obscura one is one prompt, the other one is multi-prompt with some back and forth because it requires a lot of work and this will become an actual real world object that I'll use (I'll be building it soon thanks to Kimi)!

I was given early access to the model, this model is genuinely AWESOME to use. It is better than GPT 6 Astra, it feels like a mix of both, it has the extra touch of Opus 5.5 but the thoroughness of Astra. Kimi did not pay me to say any of this, I wanted to give people my honest opinion on it. This model is great to work with especially with 3D work, it isn't as good as Opus at creating 3D cad files it was using openscad. A project that I've been working on for some time which I had Opus working on previously, I handed it over to Kimi and it nailed it. Also the Kimi personality, talking to the model is awesome, makes me want to use it more.

Thank you another person on the internet giving me money!
Thank you! I think I should start putting people in my banner that are subbed to me. I also need to post more for people who sub. Whatever that would be.

Open-source it? Let the community have it? People clearly liked it, people also clearly want it. Do the right thing for once.
We've decided to sunset Arc on December 22, 2026. That's not an easy sentence to write. We spent years building Arc and celebrating each and every release along the way: we have so much pride and love for what we made alongside the Arc community. Our priority is to deliver best-in-class security for our members. Keeping a browser secure takes constant, dedicated work that is only increasing in the age of AI. Dia was built from the ground up to meet today’s security standards, so that's where our engineering and security teams will focus moving forward. We've worked to make switching to @diabrowser as easy as possible for Arc members. Here's how: · Your passwords, bookmarks, extensions and history come over to Dia seamlessly. · Spaces, Folders, and Tab Groups are in Dia and import over with your data intact. · Dia now surpasses Arc benchmarks in stability, speed, and security. · The browser features you use in Arc are free in Dia, and the AI is optional. Thank you for using Arc, for pushing us to make it better, and for building alongside us. The team that made Arc is the same team behind Dia, and some of our most ambitious work is just ahead. We'd love for you to be there with us when it lands.
