Brilliant new tool #oceanacidificationstripes
Heres how much pH has declined in our region #northatlantic. Here you can see just the pH stripes, then the decrease in pH as bars (18% increase in acidity 😧) and finally the aragonite saturation state declining
Inspired by the climate stripes, researchers have published a new web-based graphic tool for ocean acidification data. The #OceanAcidification stripes represent the annual pH of the ocean and were developed based on the OceanSODA-ETHZ dataset.

The upcoming Liege Colloqium on Ocean Dynamics will take place from 26 to 30 May 2025 and will focus on Marine CDR emerging views and challenges.
Abstract submission is possible until 31 January 2025.
