One interesting thing about crypto is the different ways people can trade tokens.
Today, let's talk about one of them, the OTC way, with @SidelotOTC.
If this is your first time hearing the term, OTC stands for Over-The-Counter.
It refers to trading directly between two parties instead of swapping through a public exchange or DEX liquidity pool, avoiding direct price impact in that liquidity pool.
And that's what @SidelotOTC is bringing to the table.
It allows anyone to create an OTC market for an existing token, where buyers and sellers can make fixed-price offers and trade directly through escrow.
So, how does Sidelot work, and what does an OTC trade actually look like?

How to create an OTC market on @SidelotOTC
Before you start, make sure you have an existing token on Robinhood Chain or Solana and its contract address.
Step 1: Head to usesidelot.com and click Launch market.
Step 2: Under People, select My community, choose I'm a holder, and click Continue.
Step 3: Under Token, paste your token contract address and click Check token & continue.
Step 4: Add your market name, description, artwork, and the wallet that will receive your fee share.
Step 5: Review your details and click Launch market.
Step 6: Confirm the transaction in your wallet. Once it's confirmed, your market is live and ready to share with your community.

When reality couldn’t be further from the truth.

Here’s the thing about markets: your ability to filter noise is ultimately what separates those who survive and win from those who don’t.
So instead of complaining, recognize the pitfalls, avoid them, and position yourself differently.
Whilst everyone is distracted by 20k toppers, do real research into solid projects. Take a long term view, manage your risk, and survive long enough to see better times.
Set quarterly milestones instead of daily ones. Keep sharpening the sword.
