Why @The_Squibbles are doing our first-ever Kickstarter (and why it might matter to you) 🌈💚 We’ve been quietly building The Squibbles for years, one little step at a time 🫡💚 On 1st August we’re launching our first crowd-funding campaign for Trio Trouble, our brand-new Splash Comic 🙌💚 Here’s the heart of it: This is how we bring Colin, Barry and Evie’s latest adventure to more children in a format that actually helps them fall in love with reading 📖💚 A few of the special things we can offer because of this campaign 👀💚 • Our very first Splash Comic. One big, bright panel per page, designed to feel exciting and accessible (especially for kids who find traditional comics and/or reading overwhelming). • Limited collector cards and the chance for your name (or your child’s) to appear in the printed comic. • Early access and rewards that simply wouldn’t exist without this step. Why Kickstarter instead of just putting it in the shop? It lets our community see the direct difference they make, unlocks things we couldn’t do otherwise, and gives us the push we need for bigger goals 🤩💚 What we’re aiming for with this campaign: • Proper ISBNs and barcodes so Trio Trouble (and our other books) can reach bricks-and-mortar shops and more libraries. • Momentum to produce Volume 2. • Valuable experience for future projects. And who knows, maybe even a crocheted Colin one day. A quick reminder of where we’ve come from (because some of you are new here) 🥳💚 • A finished pilot episode for Meet The Squibbles (our little animated world). • Regular workshops in UK schools. • Over 100 million Giphy views. • A graphic novel distributed by Bookmark Reading Charity to hundreds of schools and thousands of children. • Crocheted Colin travelling the world visiting supporters. It’s a lot to share in one post, but it all connects. Every little step has led here 💯💚 If you’d like to join the adventure and help us get Trio Trouble into more hands in time for Christmas, the campaign opens 1st August 🗓️💚 Pre-launch link is below, click notify me on launch to be notified the moment it goes live - kickstarter.com/projects/the… 🙏💚 Thank you for being part of this colourful journey so far 🌈💚
