Imagine anyone could look up your bank balance just by knowing your name. That’s how crypto wallets work today and that’s the part we’re working to change.
Password + 2FA for your email.
One key for your life savings.
We moved our own setups to 2/2 multisigs: @Ledger + @Trezor in one @safe. Two vendors, two devices, no single company that can brick or rug you.
Setting it up takes an afternoon. And you never have to win the Ledger vs Trezor debate again: use both.
And if you’re worried about losing one, add a third key as a backup.
@borislavItskovv compared the setups here xitter.cf/goodmorningdevs/status…
That free trial you forgot to cancel? It didn't forget you 👀
Web3Spend spots the recurring payments in your @ether_fi card export and lists them in one place, with what each costs a month and a year.
No more trying to remember what you signed up for.

Good example of a team changing its mind.
Picking any funded wallet to pay gas was the smoother UX. Safe users made the case that privacy matters more, and they were right.
We have this privacy improvement coming to @safe accounts in @ambire
1. Your default EOA payer will be one of the owners. Once changed, the last one used will be remembered.
2. In the dropdown, accounts will be classified: owners, used, others
3. Choosing from "others" will show a warning that you are about to publicly link the EOA to the Safe
A lot of Safe users were complaining about the random EOA payer. Let me tell you this: it wasn't random. It was always a hot EOA with enough funds to pay the fee. We prioritized UX
But we also got the point. You care more about privacy and account management. You're getting it soon 🍸
Before you connect to a dApp, look at the domain.
Major protocols almost never live on *.pages.dev or *.vercel.app. Scam kits do, all the time.
@ambire makes you hold to confirm on those domains. You can run the same check in your head for free. 😉
2021: a team of Web2 engineers sends its first mainnet transaction.
What we got wrong in year one:
1. Treated gas as an afterthought
2. Assumed users read what they sign
3. Thought "decentralized" meant everything on-chain
Number 2 is why we care so much about clear signing now.
Back in August we said privacy in crypto is still broken.
This is what fixing it looks like: same Send button, one extra choice.
A sneak peek at Privacy Pools inside Ambire 👀
No shielding. No notes. No ZK jargon.
Just the Send flow you already know, now with the option to send to a private account and break the onchain link.
0:00 Add a Privacy Pools account
0:35 Deposit: public -> private
1:20 Withdraw: private -> public
One step closer to Private Accounts in production 🚀

If an interviewer asks you to install an app or run their code before the call, stop.
Real companies interview over Zoom, Meet or Teams in the browser. A "quick coding task" repo can empty your wallet before the interview even starts.
Imagine finally getting an interview after months of searching, only for it to cost you the last of your savings 💀💀💀
The job market is so fucked rn, with layoffs, slow hiring and AI-related cuts making it hard to get even an interview. When you've spent months looking for work and burning through savings, you really want to believe the next opportunity is real... and that makes it easier to overlook something you'd normally question.
With AI, anyone can easily build a fake company website that looks real and lists jobs that don't exist. If job boards pick up those listings, they could send them to thousands of people through job alerts. People then apply directly to the scammer, thinking they've found a real opportunity.
I've seen how quickly applications can start coming in. We once accidentally left our job pages indexable and got a few dozen applications within hours. That was enough to make me think about who else could use this.
After months of applications going nowhere and watching your savings shrink, you finally get a call. You're excited and nervous, and you want this to work so badly that "install this before the interview" or "run this repo" during a call might barely register as a risk.
Especially when you don't have the technical background to question it or you need this job really bad.
Running the wrong thing could give someone access to your accounts and the money you were relying on until you found work.
😬 At this point, keeping cash under the mattress is starting to sound less ridiculous haha
Unpopular security opinion: a warning on every unlimited approval makes users worse at security.
Show it every time and people learn to click through it.
In @ambire, apps from the verified catalogue don’t get the warning. Every other app does.
Warnings only work if they’re rare.
We don’t install any npm package version that’s less than 14 days old.
Sounds paranoid until you notice most poisoned releases get caught within hours. By day 14, someone else has already found out the hard way.
One of the cheapest security controls in @ambire.
When ATMs arrived, everyone said bank tellers were finished.
US teller jobs kept growing for decades after.
The job changed. The people doing it got more valuable.
That's how AI feels on our team right now. Less time stuck, more time on the decisions that actually matter.
Gravedancing's not our thing but a bad example is worth a thousand words.
This is the reason we're advocating for a multisig. Regardless of provider, why trust your new device with all your funds?
Setup a 2/3 multisig with one key from the new device. No one can rug you
Ledger is investigating reports of loss of funds from users in South East Asia who purchased products from a reseller named CryptoBillis. As a precaution, and pending the results of our investigation, we have asked CryptoBilis to pause all sales and shipments of Ledger devices. We recommend Ledger users who purchased from this reseller in the last 90 days to not initiate set up if you have not done so yet. If you have set up your Ledger device, consider moving assets to a new Ledger signer (with new seed). We will continue to inform customers of updates as the investigation progresses.

Your card history says more about you than your wallet does. Where you live. What you eat. When you travel.
Web3Spend never sees it.
No account. No wallet connect.
Your file is parsed in your browser.
Install it and it works with wifi off.
Don't trust. Verify.

Every cycle someone declares Ethereum dead.
Every cycle we're still shipping on it, and still stacking it.
See you at the next obituary.
Most @Ledger users have years of history on one address. Moving to a smart account usually means a new address and migrating everything.
With EIP-7702 you keep the address and get the features. Worth forking a hardware wallet app for.

🥁 EIP-7702 for @Ledger accounts 🥁
We went out and created a custom Ledger app that allows you to enable the Ambire EIP-7702 delegation
It requires installing the app on your Ledger device
Basically, we forked the official Ledger Ethereum app and made the changes required to our Ambire EIP-7702 delegator and name it Ambire. These changes required enabling 7702, blind singing and display hash.
Confirm below 👇
Diff: github.com/AmbireTech/ledger…
Build: github.com/AmbireTech/ledger…
The whole repo: github.com/AmbireTech/ledger…
The flow?
1. Install the app
2. Enable the delegation
3. Move back to the official Ethereum app for everything else
