One month ago today I released my album of beach boys covers, Gooolixx Presents... Slightly American Music. Over the next few weeks I'm going to be breaking down the tracks and showing off what I did for each track and sharing exclusive trivia, starting with Don't Worry Baby.

People call anything genius but rhapsody in blue really is just straight up unfiltered genius beginning to end. It does not get better than this

I like the tony asher GV lyrics and they work wonderfully for smile but mike's lyrics definitely helped it as a single

I've said this before but I wonder if he did vocals for this section in the 60s maybe Marilyn would have sang Taylor's part

Happy Pikmin 25th Anniversary! To celebrate, I wanted to share a preview for the 25th anniversary collab currently in the works! We're still aiming for the Dec 3rd release, but doesn't mean we get to skip the og anniv, right? Here's a preview of how the collab will look~!

I struggle to definitively say Brian Wilson was a better producer than Phil Spector because Pet Sounds and Smile are absolutely one of a kind brilliant but Brian absolutely fell flat on his face on his versions of So Young and Then He Kissed Me

That being said Brian's unfinished version of River Deep Mountain High from the 80s is pretty awesome

Really neat visual gag I noticed with the Pikmin Short Movies while editing a video. Yellow Pikmin don't have a mouth, so they used the mud it was covered in to take the shape of a shocked expression
