Joustine is a 2026 update to 1982 classic arcade game now allowing up to 12 players. Because Joust gameplay only requires 3 buttons to play, Joustine can use anything as a game controller. youtube.com/watch?v=oH3X96WI… #retrovideogames

Google has specifically prevented its AI tool from telling users who won the 2020 presidential election, even though it happily tells us that Trump won in 2016 and 2024. This sort of political intervention into LLM responses is deeply problematic. (h/t to Charles Mann)

Trump has only allowed the transfer of 24 patriot missiles to Ukraine over the last 3 months. That is only 2 interceptors delivered a week.
Rather than ending patriot deliveries like Putin wants, Trump is sending a tiny amount so people can't complain he ended all deliveries while 95% of Russia's ballistic missiles still get to hit their targets.
Created trumplexicon.com as I was curious what was up with "ass" and if Trump's brain was turning to mush. Looking at the numbers... rate he's speaking, grade level, repetition... I see nothing interesting. (Which is interesting.)
Messing around with "Launch Today" app to view rocket launches on Apple TV & excerpt clips on other Apple platforms. App Store review process still not OK with my Mac version but I sure like it on my personal Mac at least. This is Oct 19 JAXA MMX Martian Moon eXploration.
To rate men’s asses for a living, you have to be born in the United States. This is not a job for immigrants.
It’s in The Constitution.

Weird exchange about Trump's "golfing" here 👇
Q: Who did you play golf with today?
TRUMP: Ahh, just a couple of professionals
Q: Which pros?
TRUMP: I didn't play. I just hit balls for an hour. I wasn't in the mood to play.
Q: Why not?
TRUMP: Because I'm too busy

A difference of 3,647 votes. Amazing. Absolutely amazing.
Trump: We were in the midst of negotiating and a lot of stupid people said why aren’t you putting Russian sanctions—
Collins: But you said you didn’t give anything for his release
Trump: If I didn’t do that, you wouldn’t have him coming back.
Collins: So you did give something.
Trump: You don’t know anything. You’re fake news CNN.
Collins: You’re saying you lifted the sanctions in exchange for his release?
Trump: You don’t know what you’re talking about. You’re a low IQ person. You’re a dummy.

Sounds like Swisher really wants to go to prison.

Trump: "I alone could secure a prisoner release from Russia without giving anything in return"
Trump literally ten minutes later: "Now you idiots know why I had to waive sanctions on Russia, no shot I got that prisoner release otherwise"

Proud to announce what we've been working on: Prosperity One.
Site control on 4 thousand acres of extraordinary land.
It includes ultra high voltage transmission, rail, and the mighty Ohio River, and a welcoming county, making for one of the best places for nuclear on earth.
This is not that, but reminds me of 2023.
Wagner Group, led by Yevgeny Prigozhin, staged an armed mutiny. Mercenaries seized Rostov-on-Don and drove armoured column toward Moscow, halting roughly 200 kilometres from the capital BEFORE TURNING BACK.
Darn.
Wow, the US truly has the most incompetent president in history.
Just listening to how clueless this man is, it’s no wonder we have been humiliated in Iran.
Trump: “The Russians had a thousand tanks riding up a concrete highway. They would have been in Ukraine in four hours, going maximum tank speed, which is 48 miles an hour, to be exact. Nothing to stop them. The war would have been over in one day. And this very stupid general - I have no idea who he is. I doubt he’s still with us. I doubt he’s still living. He decided to hang a right onto the farmland and then take a left and go up to Kyiv, rather than staying on the highway - the concrete highway, perfectly good highway - where they were doing very nicely. It would have been three and a half, four hours, and the whole war would have ended. He ended up getting stuck in the mud.”
Does he understand that Ukrainian troops destroyed all the bridges and cut off the retreat points, so the only option left was to go off the highway? I mean, if you have the IQ of a 10-year-old child, you should be able to get it.
I am honestly shocked at the basic level of ignorance. And this is the man who is in charge of the US Army.

He pretended he had nothing to do with this after literally threatening it. This is why he was promising to give kids money. He knew this story was coming out

He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes, he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament.
Trump: I travel with all these doctors. Great doctors. I said, 'Doctor, would you like me to take a cognitive test?' And he said, 'Well...' I said, 'Is it easy or hard?' Because no president has ever done it.
You might have heard this story. Walter Reed Medical center. We have one of the doctors here today. There is good reason for doctors. They said, 'Well, what do you think, sir?' I said, 'Well, I do good. How hard is it?' It can be hard. It can be hard when you get into the middle questions. 30 questions. It can be pretty tough.
They say all the things. Has he lost his fastball? I think I am sharper now than I was 20 years ago. I don't know why. I feel the same. So this was first term, I guess, first term. I took it twice. And I aced it, every single question. Some of the questions are hard.
I gave an example of it in one of my speeches. I am doing—I guess this is number 10. I go to where I have somebody outstanding that I have to make sure they are allowed to represent the United States of America. That's why I'm here. But I gave it two rallies ago.
One of the questions is, like, take a number, sir. Like 49. Take a number and triple it. Divide by three. Double that. Subtract 400. Add 293. Divide by seven. What is your number? How many people would get that? I got it.
My uncle was the smartest scientist in the history of MIT, they tell me. But I got it. They have another one where they give you five words. They say, sir, we will give you—and you have a whole host of doctors sitting there.
And you know, the first one was so simple. The first is easy. They show you a lion, bear, snake, and giraffe. And they say, 'Which one is the giraffe?' None of those people could come close to getting a perfect score.

Ten years ago today.
In just the last few days: Trump made a deal for the U.S. to buy Russian diesel, an economic lifeline for Putin; he and Elon Musk blamed each other for an order that slowed down Starlink satellite connectivity over Ukraine, hampering the country's defenses during a devastating Russian attack; and Trump waived sanctions on Russia that Congress, led by his late friend Lindsey Graham, had pushed for.
Now, Putin has proposed a summit with Trump and Xi to decide Ukraine’s fate for them, bulldoze a century of international cooperation, and frame Russia as an equal to the U.S. and China.
We’ll see if Putin’s puppet continues to dance on his strings.
All I know about Elizabeth Homes is having read ~3 articles. Some tech details but overall just big picture. My family knows only news headlines.
Is there any show or doc we should watch BEFORE we see “You Can See Everything”?
I don’t mean reading, I mean watching, together.
