She gave 22 years to Walmart.
He allegedly hid in a bush and shot her in the head after her shift.
Latosha Ann Cooper, 45, got off work on Oct. 21 around 11:30pm.
Video shows a masked man waiting by a bush.
When she came out, he rushed her, grabbed her, and fired a .22.
She was shot in the head, and died.
He ran.
Destino Jean-Louis, 23, from Haiti, came to the US courtesy of Joe Biden's CHNV parole program in 2023.
He stayed even after Trump ended it.
DHS calls him a "criminal illegal alien."
The pair met at Walmart in 2024.
They married in April of 2025.
Co-workers said she married him to help him stay in the US.
He told police she said, "I could make you get a Green Card."
In July, immigration denied it.
A U.S. Marshal says officials found the marriage "isn't really legitimate."
She withdrew her petition and cut him off.
Co-workers say he called the store, asking about her schedule.
Cell data puts him outside the store on many nights, police say.
A coworker told police he admitted assaulting her before, saying in Haiti "such disrespect was not tolerated."
US Marshalls arrested him Oct. 23.
11 rounds of .22 ammo were found where he slept.
He denies it.
He's charged with 1st degree murder and is being held without bail.

This happened last week at Harmony High School in Osceola County, Florida.
He was sitting at lunch with his girlfriend when they saw a girl getting pelted with carrots.
Nobody was stepping in, so he did.
Two of the boys got in his face. He didn’t swing. He didn’t escalate, he stood his ground.
Right after school, he was walking to his car through the tunnel by campus when one teen hit him... and EIGHT more piled on.
NINE against ONE.
Video shows them throwing punch after punch to his face and head.
He went to the hospital and needed ELEVEN STITCHES to close his face.
His sister Brianna Bailey says he has never been able to tolerate bullies, or anyone being cruel to the people he loves.
When she saw the photo of his bloody face, she was shocked... then she found out WHY it happened.
“He stood his ground.”
Somebody filmed it, that video went straight to deputies.
They identified EVERY SINGLE ONE.
All NINE were arrested at the school, all NINE charged with aggravated battery and inciting a riot, and the school district says they’ve been EXPELLED.
The sheriff himself came out and said it plain: this young man is the brave one, and the ones who ganged up on him are the cowards.
Now people everywhere are calling him a HERO.
He’s recovering at home.
And his sister has one message for every kid out there: if you see someone getting bullied, stand up for them.
GOD BLESS this young man and GOD BLESS his family.

🚨 IT GETS WORSE: Federal prosecutors say the Louise Lucas enterprise didn't stop at marijuana.
According to the U.S. Attorney's office in the Eastern District of Virginia, agents recovered both illegal narcotics AND firearms when they searched properties tied to the operation.
They say one of the enterprise's businesses was also used to scam a COVID-era loan program.
The prosecutor called it "a criminal enterprise operating in plain sight."
Prosecutors say her relatives and associates conspired to cash in on her legislation, her access, and her influence.
