New video! The Next Generation of Independent Country Music, an introduction to artists like Zach Bryan, Billy Strings, Morgan Wade, Logan Halstead, and so many others that are taking off and becoming Childers/Sturgill-level for a new gen of fans. youtu.be/b2qdSrIYf1E

Each album cover for me is an opportunity to let my personality shine through. I enjoyed getting a shoutout for some of my covers from @gradywsmith recently. Which album cover of mine is your favorite?

One of my favorite people on YouTube, Overshore, did an interesting project to see if country singers are really from small towns, and it turns out, they pretty much are! This dude puts in so much work and always has clever delivery. youtube.com/watch?v=0HS7ttk4…

So many great artists are out there right now. They are not the ones on the radio!

Heard @gradywsmith say this about @HardyMusic 's #Unapologeticallycountryashell last week on a great video review:
"I've never related to a song less but loved a song more."
... and I TOTALLY AGREE Mr. Smith. Plus my wife loves it too, so there's that.
Aight, gonna hit pause on reviews for a little while!! (Yes, even Alan Jackson!) Wanna do some stand alone, different kinds of videos for a little while.
New video! Huge Country Roundup ft. 18(!) new country songs from Flatland Cavalry to Chayce Beckham to Gary Allan and a whole bunch of others. youtube.com/watch?v=Ef64B1LQ…
Loving this series -- so many country music histories end in the 1990s, and Zack is endeavoring to cover the past 30 years, and he's doing it in such an accessible way!

Every boomer comment trope in one comment. It's a big paragraph about "this guy" written to everyone but me, plus Darius-ain't-country, "Dixie Pricks," Merle-shaming, begrudging Johnny approval, and ultimately a pleasantish ending with an, "ah, he's young and alright by me." 😂
I'm a "Sawin' Logs" stan, what can I say?
Appreciate the love in your latest video @gradywsmith!!!

It makes so much sense to me that Miranda Lambert co-wrote Morgan Wallen's "Thought You Should Know," cuz the second I heard that song, it made me think SO MUCH of "What About Georgia." One of my favorite songs ever by her. youtube.com/watch?v=y4ajlPhC…
New video! Do you have to be sad to enjoy sad country music? (Thinking about the effect of our moods on music preference.) youtube.com/watch?v=ejT2WHVi…
Even if you take morality out of the equation, not drinking and working out regularity is just a major productivity hack and mood stabilizer.
Mind blown. Thank you! My love for this tweet will last longer than the call of a whippoorwhill, @randytravis.
This is so cool. Thanks @gradywsmith youtu.be/DzzcT-FxdcE
