🚨 XOS COACHING - HOUSTON, TX 🚨
We’re fired up to announce Grant Gunnell as the XOS Quarterback Coach serving the Houston area. @grantgunnell7
Grant is one of the most accomplished quarterbacks Texas has ever produced — the all-time Texas high school passing leader with over 16,000 yards and 195 touchdowns, Army All-American, Elite 11 QB, and Texas Ford Built Player of the Year.
I had the privilege of coaching Grant at both the University of Arizona and the University of Memphis, and what separates him isn’t just production — it’s resilience. Grant navigated multiple coaching changes, system transitions, and battled injuries, yet continued to lead, compete, and grow at the highest level.
That journey gives him rare perspective:
▪️Adapting to new systems
▪️Responding to adversity
▪️Leading through uncertainty
▪️Preparing the right way every day
Grant brings real experience:
▪️High-level college football
▪️Competing in multiple offensive systems
▪️Leading locker rooms
▪️Navigating recruiting and development the right way
If you’re a quarterback in Houston who’s serious about your craft, growth, and future — you’re getting coached by someone who’s lived it.

Had the incredible honor of welcoming two legends back to the school! 🏆 They took the time to workout, catch up with old teachers, and inspire our players with their wisdom and experience. #LegendsReturn
