🧬 Could targeting tumour metabolism with L-glutamine change the treatment landscape for advanced pancreatic cancer? buff.ly/lBleNyq L-Glutamine in combination with first-line gemcitabine and nab-paclitaxel in advanced pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma: an open-label, single-arm, phase 1 GlutaPanc trial A phase 1 trial explored 🇺🇸 FDA-approved L-glutamine alongside gemcitabine💊 and nab-paclitaxel in 16 patients with treatment-naive, advanced #PancreaticCancer . ➡️ The combination reached its recommended phase 2 dose, with tumor shrinkage in 94% of participants and a 44% overall response rate, including 12.5% complete responses. Median progression-free survival was 8.5 months and overall survival 22 months.
