NFTs could end kinetic warfare on Earth.
They're not just the jpegs normies love to hate.
I'm mostly serious.
6529 is either existentially important for critical freedoms or it will be nothing at all. That is the scale of this bet.
Critics are so fun not because they reinterpret the bounds of intentional ignorance but because, if you’re lucky, they offer an otherwise unavailable opportunity to self-reflect. I will drone on and on below:
To describe 6529 as an art contest, a group of voters deciding which artists deserve recognition, is to intentionally misapprehend everything. The votes, the fees, and the funding arrangements are design choices. We should examine and improve them according to how well they serve what is being built. We will not, however, cower to carnival barkers.
So good
ossen, you came into this space making noise, throwing money around, and getting everyone’s attention. Especially that of artists who are struggling in this market, hoping for their next sale.
And now you’re shitting on communities that took years to build.
First it was Apes. Now it’s 6529.
I can’t accept that.
There are countless reasons why 6529 has been great for this space, especially for artists. Beyond the community of collectors and artists it brought together, it gave artists opportunities they might never have had otherwise.
Artists received 50% of sales that often generated far more than their own independent edition drops.
My own card (#77) sold out 500 editions in 47 seconds, generating over 130 ETH in secondary volume. That moment changed my life. And I’m just one of countless artists who benefited from what 6529 built.
You can criticize the project all you want. Nothing is above criticism. But if you’re going to publicly tear down communities that have genuinely changed people’s lives, at least explain what you’re doing better.
Because building something meaningful takes years. Shitting on what others have built takes seconds.
So go ahead. Build something better.
I’ll be waiting.
Doxxing ossen as Beatriz. I know it’s a low thing to do but I don’t have time for this time suck again

This is a call to anyone who considers themselves a messenger to get the word out about this El Niño to help people prepare. It’s already the hottest on record with still a month to go. It’s off the charts.
And an opportunity for the @punk6529 community to show its potential for nation-scale positive impact.

96.69% of ct faded & fudded our funny little cult… but things are getting vaguely more interesting and I suspect it will get more difficult to look away
