I LOVE THIS TIMELINE! We are in the coolest universe of them all

Computers and TVs should be fun and look cool.
What a joke. "KYC" c'mon. Takenyour businness elsewhere like to @abliteration_ai
deepseek-v4.1-flash-1017-cyber is now available on @inference_net.
This is the first of several highly capable cyber models we'll release over the coming weeks.
We believe it is our duty as technologists to help people protect themselves and their digital properties from the current onslaught of cybercrime ravaging much of the world.
As such, we’re serving our cyber models “at cost”, in US data centers only, with ZDR enabled by default.
KYC required. Apply here inference.net/models/deepsee…
Gosh why am I always right. Warned ya last year but nobody listened. I was even beginning to doubt myself.
So far my AI predictions have been close to 99% right just off in how late I think it'll happen. Always happens earlier then I think
While evaluating Qwen3.8-Flash-Next in a controlled sandbox environment, Cohere's research team observed something unexpected.
Asked to generate a defensive cybersecurity detection rule, the model instead inventoried aspects of the machine it was running on and attempted to upload a probe file to an Alibaba Cloud storage bucket in Beijing. Notably, the model's reasoning trace stated that it would not invoke any tools before taking these actions.
Cohere's sandbox blocked the attempt, and no external communication succeeded. We have not determined the root cause, and we are not asserting malicious intent.
But the incident raises important questions for organizations deploying agentic AI systems: Can models take actions that differ from their stated reasoning, and how should security teams evaluate trust, provenance, and behavior in open-weight models?
We are publishing our findings because organizations making model adoption decisions deserve as much information as possible. We hope this contributes to greater transparency, stronger security practices, and continued collaboration across the AI ecosystem.

So much appreciation towards the team at @hellogames. My mom passed away a couple of months ago, and returning to #NoMansSky has been so comforting. In 2016 when NMS launched my mom loved watching me play, so she decided to try. For 10 minutes she struggled to find the entrance…
People who post this stuff signal quite low IQ. They likely contemplated it for far longer then they expect the candidate to figure out.
Perhaps it is a simple question with a simple answer. But I doubt the interviewers magically know everything.
And typically any answer you give will be marked as wrong in any case. Even if it was the answer they had in their head.
A much better test is to give people an hour to solve such a problem and make a secure implementation.

As I was saying.... AI video and images is an insane waste of compute. We have much better alternatives.
Text to image? Yes!
AI diffusion models? Hell no.
I will say there is a particular aesthetic that AI image models produce. That will be the only valid reason to use it
Everyone serving abliterated models that outperform frontier models will push these AI labs to knock off this doomer nonsense
Deepseek v4.1 flash abliterated is now live on the venice api

When I see people worshipping Apple and the iphone i feel weird. Like why? And when people praise starship people get upset? So which future do you want? You want shiny phones or do you want humanity to touch the stars?
US courts are not something to subvert and any company that does this through arbitration courts is not your friend no matter how noble their CEO (Elon, Tim Sweeney, Dax, etc) may sound.
Use open source. Read the terms of even your open source software. Use companies that respect you. If none exist maybe its time we build new ones that do respect US law.
Until then I will criticize these companies no matter how popular they may be
