Within the last week Klaviyo released Extended ID and in my , effectively put an end to every identity resolution app that doesn't provide value beyond identity resolution.
Do other IR vendors layer on additional users that Klaviyo doesn't catch? Yeah I assume so, but will it make up for the cost? Doubtful

This is a sad trend for people and society.
It’s been proven for many years now: building a committed relationship with one person and then raising children in that nuclear two-parent family contributes more to creating healthy, happy adults and a well functioning society than anything else (ie wealth vs poverty, health history, zip code, race).
So the implication of the trend below, if it doesn’t self correct are terrible for society as a whole:
1) there will be more and more promiscuity and, as a byproduct, less kids born
2) what few kids we do have will grow up in non two parent households
It may seem “fun” and “free” to be a 20/30 something with a roster, but many of these folks will wake up alone, too late to act on the simple truth that being in a committed relationship and having kids is not an indulgence of a thriving society but a requirement.

Today I was among the journalists who have attended a private screening of the raw footage of October 7th and I want to express to you what I saw since it’s not been made public. It’s been a very heavy day. A decision was made that Jews are less than human, and treated that way in words and deeds..I now know that’s exactly the message Hamas sent on purpose — at scale. I wasn’t aware of that before. I saw bodies were burned but I did not understand or appreciate how intentional the effort was - they did it methodically, you hear it in the voices, the commands the ease, the excitement of finding and mutilating victims.

X’s business problem isn’t that brands are fleeing due to Elon controversy. Its business problem is that its ads product stinks at direct response marketing and brand marketing (what it offers) is elective.
TikTok is essentially owned and operated by the CCP, yet brands still choose to spend billions of dollars on it because it has a decent DR ads product. I say decent because it’s not nearly as good as Meta, but brands are so desperate for a secondary DR channel that they’ll spend dollars on TT’s merely decent ads product.
The threshold for X’s ad product is decent. And they’ve, to date, failed to meet that threshold. At decent levels of performance, they no longer are “elective.”
I think the unspoken promise of Elon’s ownership of X is that they’d finally get good at ads — throw a bunch of world class AI engineers at ad targeting and solve it — I mean the guy can land rockets, surely he can target ads better. But they’ve made like zero progress on this.
I think there’s a higher likelihood of Elon solving X’s ad product issues than there is at Elon solving the “mind virus” (in his view) of woke brands. He should focus on the former and the latter will follow.
If brands like Disney and Apple actually found X’s ads product beneficial and not merely a place they have to spend, then they’d be way less likely to pull those dollars and, in Elon’s terms, blackmail him when he says things they don’t like.
Great leadership.
