You didn’t explain contextual architecture. What is your knowledge on the terrain & how that specificity aligns with the design thinking of the structure? Also, you skipped the simplest direct angle to the point you wanted to make: ‘the structure’s direct response to publicness.’
For those of you asking me what I mean by contextual Architecture; this is the Maxcanu train station in Mexico.
It doesn’t stand out too much within its immediate environment even though the design is a contemporary one. Elements like the roof eaves also help protect the building envelope.
This is what contextual Architecture looks like. You’re welcome 😇
There is no problem with your critical take, you made great sense. But what is disingenuous of you is: saying you didn’t have a referenced point of departure. You didn’t have to mention names, it was clear you drew from 1 or more persons that fit the context of your take.
People are so angry with themselves these days that you tweet something and they immediately misinterpret it.
I have absolutely no reason to shade any artiste in the music industry. I’ve been in this game long enough to know that there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to success, relevance or longevity.
Sometimes, a conversation is simply a conversation. Not everything is a sub.
Are you saying he has comprehension issues or you have a faulty command of English ? Because what you wrote is crystal clear and you know what you’re doing Uncle Ubi. 😂
Bro, my last tweet wasn’t about any particular artist. I was simply juxtaposing what Big Brother Naija used to represent with where it is today.
We all saw the impact and conversations around Big Brother in 2017, 2018, 2019 and those first few years after its comeback. Today, it doesn’t dominate conversations the same way.
I compared that to what I’ve seen in the music industry. I’ve worked with artists who were once dominating every conversation, and when that changes, you go back to the drawing board, restrategize and figure out how to reposition. And trust me, it’s easier said than done.
So no, I wasn’t shading or referring to any particular artist. I wouldn’t do that, especially in an industry I’m actively part of. It was simply an analogy about relevance, longevity and the constant need to reinvent.
When his manager wrote on the topic of “Olodo Uprising” I almost replied that his client promotes Olodos for reasons I can’t grasp. Little did I know that the said client is an enabler of Olodos and an Olodo at once. Truly, birds of the same feather flock together.

There was a time he posted a clip of a girl he invited to his stream because they fell out at some point in their rounds, targeting the part where she was asking him to cover some expense to paint her as a broke internet sensation. Again, anything to gain attention!
Davrel is a greener snake, exposing a private chat is a question mark on his values. Avoid any business with folks like that. I knew he was an anyhow person from the clips of him I’ve seen before now. The clown is desperately in pursuit of fame and will get it by any means.
I suspect this is the type of quantum leap Burnaboy did with Ye. It is giving reworked OG Psquare; and if he continues like this he might achieve one of the greatest comebacks in Afrobeats. The album will uphold or thrash my suspicion.
