By Dawn's Early Light. This morning in Chicago on Independence Day, America 250. – at Chicago, IL
Visited @TheObamaCent today & had to snap a photo at the Ann Dunham water terrace.
Fun fact: Ann Dunham is my fourth cousin! Yes, that makes @BarackObama my fifth cousin.
The entire campus is stunning & was a wonderful way to start the Fourth of July!
Hey @Cubs my 12yo is here today & he’s ready to help with pitching if you need it! He can throw a mean 50 mph curveball! #cubsbaseball #gocubsgo #cubsvscardinals #cubs
Nothing says welcome to Chicago like sitting in airport traffic! It’s Chicago, my second home, so I will allow it. 😆 #alaac26

RT for a chance to win one of these draft hats SIGNED by Caleb Wilson & Dailyn Swain 👀
Shoutout to Boog for not letting the hitters panel kids questions turn into every kid getting an auto.
Kid “Will you sign my ball” questions are the equivalent of “there was an error in episode 233…..” at nerd conventions. In other words, just don’t. #cubscon
I like hearing the insightful & fun questions like “how did you pick your jersey number” or “do you put ketchup on a hot dog?” Much more fun!
Something I’d love to see at future #cubscon a kids only seating area for panels. There are lots of adults sitting up front & it’d be nice to have a few rows up front reserved for kids.
When you're a musical theater kid, but also a @Cubs fan. Welcome to the thoughts I have while watching games this year. #baseballseason #musicaltheater #chicagocubs
Loaned Ryne Sandberg my sharpie in the Cubs store at #CubsCon without realizing who he was! He was so sweet and signed my son’s card as a thank you. (And yes, I figured out who he was….eventually) Thanks for being awesome, Mr. Sandberg!
Thank you Cubs!
Cubs have a sensory area tucked away this year at #CubsCon, and let me just say, as someone with little friends who need help getting regulated sometimes: good on the Cubs. Thank you.
Hey Cubs fans! Attending my first #cubscon this weekend with my kiddo. Despite living in Cardinals Country, he’s seen the light & has always been a Cubs fan. This even caused an argument at age three at daycare! If you see us, please say hi!
Can’t wait for my first #cubscon this weekend!
