I recently picked up a Japan Domestic Market (JDM) Seiko titanium radio controlled solar watch (7B42-0AN0). I replaced the aging capacitor with a new one for under $20. I overcame the fear of working inside a watch where the screws are tiny and the capacitor screw itself is completely dwarfed by a grain of rice.
A quirk of this model is that it only receives the time signal JJY transmitted within Japan and not the WWVB time station at Fort Collins, Colorado in the USA. However, through the magic of creative app developers there’s a workaround. First, I set the watch to the Tokyo time zone to enable time signal reception. Next, using (for iPhone) an app called “Clock Wave” my phone can simulate the signal the watch receives and then (and here’s the real magic) transmit the time as my local time into the watch to “radio” sync it.
I now have a vintage Seiko (15 years old) from eBay Japan that runs like new, looks great, and the titanium feels almost weightless on my wrist. The total: under $120, shipping, import fees, and new capacitor included.

Can’t believe the media is still pretending DataRepublican didn’t just drop the receipts. Former USAID people, DSA-linked groups, and the rest openly talking about red lines, declaring the federal government illegitimate, provisional governors, and rewriting the system with the same color-revolution playbook they’ve used overseas.
Everyone on X has seen it. The big outlets are just choosing not to.
That’s not journalism,that’s complicity.

The U.S. Marine Corps and the Army Paratroopers both rejected Audie Murphy when he tried to enlist. At five feet five inches tall and one hundred and ten pounds, they told the Texas farm boy he was too small to fight.
On January 26, 1945, near Holtzwihr, France, that nineteen-year-old boy climbed on top of a burning tank destroyer loaded with fuel and high-explosive shells and fought two hundred and fifty German soldiers and six tanks completely alone.
In freezing snow, six German Panzer tanks and two hundred and fifty infantrymen attacked Murphy's company, which had been reduced to just nineteen men out of one hundred and twenty-eight. An American M10 tank destroyer was hit and burst into flames, its crew abandoning it before the fuel tanks and artillery shells inside could detonate.
Murphy ordered all of his remaining men to pull back into the safety of the woods. Then he ran straight to the burning M10 tank destroyer and climbed onto its roof.
Why on earth did he climb on top of a burning tank that was seconds away from blowing up?
Because Murphy realized two tactical facts in an instant. First, the .50-caliber machine gun mounted on that burning turret was the only heavy weapon left on the field. Second, the thick black smoke pouring from the burning engine shrouded him completely, blinding the German tank gunners so they could not aim at him, while German foot soldiers were too terrified of the exploding tank to rush him.
For one full hour, standing in the fire and smoke with a shrapnel wound in his leg, the nineteen-year-old Texan spun the heavy machine gun in every direction and called artillery fire directly onto his own position over a field telephone.
When the artillery operator on the phone asked nervously, "How close are the Germans to you?", Murphy answered, "Hold the phone and I'll let you talk to one."
He killed or wounded fifty German soldiers and forced all six tanks to retreat before stepping off the burning metal just before his ammunition ran out.
Never measure a warrior by the size of his shoulders. Measure him by what he stands on when everyone else steps back.

We don’t have the privilege to sit this one out.
All in.
Everyone feels the absence of Charlie Kirk, Scott Adams, and Jordan Peterson.
They left us more than just big shoes to fill. There’s a void now in the discourse, but they also left us their tools. We’re going to need every last one of them to fill it.
Trump would be absent too, but a slight turn of his head changed history. His presence is the reason our streets don’t look like France. I bet you know how that would feel.
We have a duty to fight for those we’ve lost. Whether they lost their lives or their ability to keep fighting. They were fighting for Americans against the most insidious propaganda of all time (so far), and we owe it not just to them, but to the work they’ve already done for us and for our children’s futures.
They got the ball this far. WE have to get it over the line. Reject every single person telling you to cede ground to the left in the midterms. WE STILL HAVE GROUND TO TAKE. The game for the golden age has only just begun.
Vote against the left before it’s too late. Do it for the homies. IT’S VOTE OR DIE.

🚨 THE CHEAT IS HAPPENING: Brazil’s Supreme Court just EXTENDED voting hours as polls were closing.
Justice Cristiano Zanin ordered it. He is Lula’s former personal lawyer, put on the court by Lula in 2023.
The catch. Only stations still open get more time. Bolsonaro strongholds that already closed stay closed.
Watch Brazil tonight! If Flávio Bolsonaro still pulls this out, it is a MASSIVE win.

TEN DAYS OUT AND THIS IS THEIR CLOSER.
Barack Obama stood on a rally stage today and mocked Pete Hegseth for caring about the fitness and strength of our troops.
Then he asked how much time Hegseth spends looking in the mirror.
This is coming from the guy who built a giant concrete outhouse and named it after himself.
Pete Hegseth served in Iraq and Afghanistan. He wants our soldiers strong, fit, and ready to win.
Obama wants a military that worries more about pronouns than readiness.
Democrats are 10 days out from an election, and their big closer is a hair joke.
