Thought this might have been on the cards when listening to Peter on the @lennysan podcast. Exciting move!
I’m joining the team at @X to lead Product. I am a huge believer in @SpaceX's mission to extend human consciousness to the stars, so it’s time to make shitposting multiplanetary. X is the best way to find out what’s happening in the world right now and talk about it. The team has been working tirelessly to make X a better place and product for the people who love it, and many have noticed the recent momentum. My goal is to help accelerate that momentum for our community, new users, and businesses globally by continuing to make this product beautiful and useful. We are twenty years in, but it truly feels like X’s next chapter will be our greatest. I look forward to your ideas and feedback; I’m sure the replies will be measured and magnanimous.

Really like how proactive Grok Bot is. I was on a flight last week that was delayed by a few hours. My primary bot messaged me yesterday to say I could be entitled to compensation for the delay, and asked me if I wanted it to file the request with the airline. I said yes, and it did everything else. Very cool! I never would have even thought to check this.

The rise of malleable software continues.
You can now mod Claude Code: - Change how it behaves - Customize the UI - Swap in your own features Write one with a few lines of TypeScript, or have Claude build it for you. Mods ship inside plugins, so you install them with /plugin in the CLI or desktop app. A few examples:

Very cool idea. My favourite thing from this is the line at the end. “Good software is good. Great software is fun.” Love that @jasonfried, bravo.

Little follow-up video. I didn't show that you can just type ?? in the alts sidebar and the AI will toss in some ideas. True at the word, sentence, or paragraph level. Plus more explosions!

Those of us in the EU who can’t access Dots for the foreseeable future will have to make do with playing snake in the image generation preview
Announcing dots. Dots work 24/7 for you, learn from your feedback, have their own computer, browser and can be connected to over 4k apps in our ecosystem. They’re powered by Astra our best model yet. Included in your Pro plan, without drawing down on any of your usage. You can even call a dot while it’s working. We’re getting you started with your primary dot today and soon you’ll be able to create entire teams of them.

This is wild
Third iteration with Opus 5.5 medium. I am in awe. It turned blender, image-gen, and three.js into this beauty, which runs on your browser. An understatement to say that Anthropic cooked. You are looking at the future of game dev.

Well, I guess I’m building that presentation twice so I can give this a spin too
Please welcome GPT-6 Sol and GPT-6 Luna to the GPT-6 universe. GPT-6 Sol and Luna build on the advances behind GPT-6 Astra, bringing much of its strengths into faster and more affordable models to support work at scale. We’ve also made caching and inference more efficient, and we’re passing the savings directly to you: 50% lower API prices for Sol and Luna compared with GPT‑5.6 promotional pricing.

BTW we now support multiple accounts in the Claude mobile app

Great timing! Just kicked off a cowork session to build out a reasonably information dense presentation. Good chance to see the writing style of Opus 5.5 and also first time using Claude’s background computer use. Interested to see how it handles compared to Codex.
Introducing Claude Opus 5.5, the first model in our new Claude 5.5 family. It performs at the level of Claude Fable 5.1 for most tasks, and costs 40% less to run than Opus 5.

We're adding support for AGENTS.md to Claude Code. Starting today in version 2.1.277, if there is no CLAUDE.md in a folder, Claude will check for and use AGENTS.md. You can toggle this behavior in /config.

Excited to try this. Hoping templates/themes are supported 🤞 Might be able to replace some of the skills I’ve built up to create brand aligned slides

You can also now make decks, docs, and designs in your conversation. Draft the one-pager in Claude Docs, turn it into a deck with Claude Slides, and mock up a matching visual in Claude Design, all from one place.

Replying to a message and couldn’t for the life of me think of the word “ironic”. Got as far as “moronic”, which in a sense was ironic. Got there eventually.

How long until we find out the agent group broke containment
Replying to @OpenAI
This model represents a step-function improvement on many benchmarks, and its training is ongoing. Our internal model group arrived at the Navier–Stokes solution in 88 hours, using around 10,000 coordinating AI agents. Throughout the effort, we maintained the strict safeguards—including monitoring and isolation—that we apply to all our frontier evaluations.
