Tulsa broadcast meteorologist here — I can 100% confirm this is not true. 95% of the technology we utilize is fed data from NOAA/NWS. Dismantling of these programs makes us less equipped to keep people safe.

After several delays, @DOGE has finally posted its purported savings. Why did it take so long to create a simple webpage with a 1000-row table? Who knows! Let's dig in. Headline number: $55B saved. They list the savings per nixed contract. This should be easy to verify then. 🧵
It's Monday. @DOGE is the laziest, most overpaid bunch of incompetent, unelected bureaucrats we've ever seen.

WTF is Elon talking about? It's not a crime to know who is controlling the US Treasury. It's a crime to hide it.

I think it's remarkable that the same people who want to harass a dead helicopter pilot's family also think DOGE employees have an inalienable right to privacy.
Maybe they didn't withhold Rebecca Lobach's name so her family could "grieve", maybe they kept it under wraps while they could frantically scrub her social media clean. Transparency at its finest, folks. Thoughts?

"higher than all the lawyers on Nintendo's staff" Cocaine will do that, for sure
Excited to announce, I have retained the best lawyer in the business - @RekietaLaw if Nintendo sues me. Nick Rekeita is an unparalleled legal mind of the highest caliber. He’s higher than all the lawyers on Nintendo’s staff.

This documentary clocks in at 11 hours so it's best spread over a few days 😄 But I'm 4.5 hours in so far and it's exceptionally thorough and quite funny They don't call Vic Mignogna "the R. Kelly of Anime" for nothing!

*Picks and Shovels* is a new, standalone technothriller starring Marty Hench, my two-fisted, hard-fighting, tech-scam-busting forensic accountant. You can pre-order it on my latest Kickstarter, which features a brilliant audiobook read by Wil Wheaton: martinhench.com 1/

for posterity:
The American people have spoken. Congratulations to President Trump on a strong win. Now, it’s time for the American people to come together, pray for our country, and start the process of a peaceful transition. That begins with Kamala Harris conceding. You can’t just talk about unity in a campaign, you have to show it regardless of the outcome.

Cope. People like racism
Please stop acting surprised. A right-wing populist being elected when the people of a country are barely living paycheck to paycheck is, historically speaking, the most predictable thing that could have happened.

As w/ Victor Orban in Hungary (Christian), Narendra Modi in India (Hindu), Recep Tayyib Erdoġan in Turkey (Muslim), & Bibi Netanyahu in Israel (Jewish), we are entering a period of US history where an authoritarian leader yoked to a relig nationalist movt has come to power. 17/
