Thank you to Greg Smith MP for sharing this crucial message in support of our campaign! 🚚⛽
As @gregsmith_uk points out, eye-watering fuel costs don't just hit drivers at the pump, they ripple right through the logistics sector, driving up everyday costs on shop shelves for everyone.
Ahead of #Budget2026 we're calling on the government to back the businesses that keep Britain moving, by keeping the freeze on fuel duty, scraping planned fuel duty increases, and introducing a rebate on fuel for essential users.

🚨Sneaked out by OFGEM this morning, a warning for the first time EVER they cannot guarantee that demand will be met on a peak day in winter.
Let’s be clear what that means. They cannot guarantee that homes will be warm, lights come on or industry function on a peak day this winter.
And why? Because of an accelerated decline in domestic gas supply from the North Sea.
So what is the solution? For British bill payers to pay more, to IMPORT more from Europe (specifically Belgium) to keep the lights on in Britain.
Britain. A country with vast supplies of gas, untapped, deliberately due to Labour policy now going cap in hand to Europe and paying vast sums to import foreign gas.
It is utterly outrageous. You couldn’t make it up.

Yet another Sustainable Farming Incentive debacle from Labour, yet the Minister's replies to questions this morning had the air of "nothing to see here". Well there is Minister: the real livelihoods of our farmers being messed with by this anti-rural, anti-farming government.

Illegal immigrants shouldn't be housed in tiny villages.
We have a plan, leave the ECHR so we can deport them instead.

Well done to @CityPolice - now we need all Police forces to crack down on dangerous cycling: the rules of the road must apply equally to everyone and be fully enforced.

Those who can work, should work.
That’s why the next Conservative Government will cut benefits for those who refuse to get back to work and introduce a “Back to Work” card restricting what they can spend benefits on, saving taxpayers £538 million a year.

A strong country needs people to work and contribute. But Labour have made it easier to claim and harder to get a job.

Absolutely superb day at the Kop Hill Climb yesterday. A privilege to wave the flag to send the first car up the hill, followed by a morning volunteering selling programmes in aid of the Kop Hill Charity. Followed by a huge treat of two runs up the hill!
The air traffic control failure this week left thousands in a desperate position, but we've been here before. Government needs to act urgently to ensure this failure never happens again - and that passengers stranded get the support they deserve.

I have granted the following urgent question in the @HouseofCommons today.
From @gregsmith_uk to ask @Heidi_Labour, the Secretary of State for Transport @transportgovuk, if she will make a statement on ..

The House of Commons sits from 9.30am today starting with @cabinetofficeuk questions.
Earlier I met with Janet and Deborah from Wrong Plan Wrong Site, campaigning against the totally inappropriate proposal for an asylum camp at MOD Bicester. A good discussion on how we can work together to stop this scheme ever seeing the light of day.

The Housing Secretary cannot say on one hand she wants to give power to every postcode, whilst dictating to local councils on how they must behave. Under Labour, planning has become central state control.
An asylum centre at MOD Bicester is totally inappropriate and will badly affect Buckinghamshire villages like Oakley, Boarstall, Brill, Marsh Gibbon, Ludgershall and more. I challenged the new PM to see for himself and intervene to stop it. – at London, England

Absolutely right - The Falkland Islands are British, absolutely no question. Anyone suggesting otherwise is just plain wrong.
Reflecting on this. It has been a lonely time to be a friend of Isreal of late. This stupid tweet by the PM’s son will make it even harder. I hope @gregsmith_uk as Chairman of @CFoI makes it clear how cretinous this intervention is and how damaging to Israel’s cause on the right.
